1. 1/5App is ok the costumer service is horrible.

   US Army active duty vet had to keep my I live in warm during an ice storm in which we were stuck in our car out of gas due to a security lock on our card. We called customer service and three people refused to look beyond ink and paper and help the family out in a dire situation. Add a column back four times we did get a hold of a gentleman that was willing to help us he fix my issue in five minutes and my card is back active after eight hours Merica the supervisor possibly not sure as I was directed to three other supervisors that turned out not to be supervisors was rude in inconsiderate they refused to help us in anyway my car is it available balance was over 1000 bucks but the security lock let me in my family to states away stuck in an ice storm after hitchhiking to the next date to get my hands on my ID which was directed to me by a staff member caught a ride back to my family with my ID only to find out it would take two business days to process the request. For people refuse to help me and my family one gentleman was able to go above and beyond see if there’s some extra paperwork and find my verification and activate my card putting my family back on the road thank you to that gentleman if I was you I would find a new job at a more reputable and compassionate company because they don’t deserve you I’ll be pulling my phones in my services away from this card immediately if you have money on this card and need access to it find another option. 2. 1/5I got this card from my Michigan unemployment

   This is the worst card I’ve ever had in my life it’s been hacked twice somebody went through the automated system and tried giving themselves $1200 through the bill pay I’ve only had it since September we’re just in November I got it September 27 the money went on September 29They have lock the card three times I’ve had to send my picture of my license front and back in my selfie they did it right before Thanksgiving I haveMoney in the account they lock it right before Thanksgiving I went to go get pop because we don’t have stores open in Michigan on thanksgiving and it’s locked I called in don’t even know until I called in they don’t give me no email or nothing the supervisor said that it would be unlocked later that day it did not get unlocked it’s still locked the morning of Thanksgiving they do not care about their customers one bit they don’t care if you have your money they don’t care if you get your money they hang up on you to ignore you you put a password on the account they don’t even ask you for it half the time this is an incompetent bank very incompetent and I am not happy at all that they keep locking my account I’ve had it since like I said September it’s up since September and it’s been locked three times so that means it’s been locked once every month and it takes him two days to three days to unlock it I am not happy I am pulling all my money out of it and I’m cutting it up and if I ever get unemployment again I will never get this card and I am tell I am going to complain to Michigan unemployment

   When I first started using the US Bank Reliacard app, it wasn’t anything to write home about. That was almost two years ago when the pandemic hit. Since then there have been a number of significant improvements to it’s functionality. I now couldn’t ask for more than it currently provides. I’ve all but depleted my balance and I must say, I’ll miss it just a little. Transfers to bank accounts are free and fast, it provides nationwide directions to -in network- ATM machines that have no withdrawal fee, updates instantly when purchases are made, has above average daily spending limits, advanced security to keep money safe, any transaction alert you could possibly need, section dedicated to financial programs and offers, always works for any type of credit card purchase… except for certain online purchases that are permanently locked out; foreign purchases, Cash App, PayPal etc. Side note: You won’t get anywhere by calling Card Services or US Bank, so don’t waste your time there. It’s a prepaid debit card that is 95% regulated by the government. In spite of that one thing, I give it 5 gold stars.

4. 3/5A little clunky

   It feels like an out dated app. When you transfer it can really be days before it shows up in your bank and you can’t see any info about it. And if you call customer service they have no into. So the first time you transfer to your bank it is nerve wracking. I am used to instant transfer so when I saw my card say $0 and my bank not even say pending for days on end and my rent was due, I freaked out. They thought my bank was fraud too and would not even let me transfer the following month by going to my bank and having a teller complete the transaction (which is the only kind of instant transfer you can do). I had to call customer support after the bank said it kept coming back fraud. This happened two days in a row because they didn’t recognize my bank as a bank even though I had done a transfer in the app and all of my account info was in there. This is for benefits, like unemployment. Makes sense the government uses it. It is probably incredibly cheap since it is definitely no frills and customer service is pretty worthless. It isn’t the fault of the people working. It’s just that this app has no features whatsoever.

5. 5/5Easy & Everything needed.

   I got this card with my PUA unemployment. I didn’t expect to truly love the card, the app and everything that goes with it. I’m a mom, and I need something that it is easy, but also secure. I don’t want to have to worry breach of data but I also don’t want some thing that is so mind-boggling hard it’s just too much. I get a text whenever the card is used. I get a text whenever there’s a deposit. I get a text with my balance. These notifications were chosen by me. I can change my notification preferences, topics or turn text notifications off all together. I love this. I can deposit or withdraw money at thousands of different locations without a fee. This is awesome. I can choose to get a paper statement or not, no hidden fees either way. When it is all said and done...I will continue with this card. When there is no more PUA or unemployment, I will continue to keep this card. Every debit card I’ve ever seen/used has fees attached. The big fee... If you use an ATM at a financial institution that is different from the financial institution that issued the card. NOT THIS CARD THOUGH!! Absolutely Awesome!!!
