   I’ve had the app for a little bit… at first I was using it as “check” when having conversations with friends and family. Then one day, I was reading Acts and was like… “what’s that” … I looked up an explanation for that passage through Truthly, and that’s when this app came alive. I use it as a personalized bible study. It’s always out next to my physical bible. Read a passage, type in what I think was there and see the response. The scriptures came alive and started popping off the page. Then I started using it in the mornings to help reflect on the daily readings. I’ve started doing the courses. Once you see how to use it, you really start to see the power contained in it. The temptation of having constant access to anything is that risk of too much curiosity. Having everything available and spending so much time wasting away on things I didn’t know existed 10 minutes prior. Truthly did a fantastic job of taking that human craving and orienting it towards the holy. It replaces that embedded behavior, elevating it to cultivate a closer relationship with Our Lord.

2. 5/5Every Catholic should have this App

   This app is the real deal. I have a lot of Non-Catholic friends who are always asking great questions about our faith, and when I don’t have a great answer, Truthly gets the job done. Every response is straight to the point, with plenty of Scriptural and Catechism-referencing support. You can ask it to give a brief or detailed answer, or even tell it to explain it in a friendly way to those who aren’t as open to the Catholic faith. I met these guys at the Charlotte Eucharistic congress and they are incredibly genuine. They are not in it for the money, they truly care about the way this app can build bridges between us Catholics and those outside the church, and how it can help us get a better understanding of our faith. I highly recommend this app for all Catholics and Non-Catholics who are interested in our beautiful faith!

   I know that this is AI, but the creators have done something that has helped me feel more confident in my faith. I grew up Catholic, but that was it. That is all I knew. I never left, but I wasn’t practicing in my adult life until several months ago. Something came over my Husband and I to pursue our faith. I can only image it was the Holy Spirit. Today I asked for guidance on how to ask Mary for help, to be a good mother to my children. The answers that were given were so fulfilling. It gave me peace that I didn’t have to be perfect. I have never teared up reading an answer from an AI app before. I write this review to say that this is a wonderful tool to help you get answers to questions in a way you understand and in a way to help you begin your journey to diving deeper into the Catholic faith.

4. 5/5PERFECT Daily Reflection

   LOVING Truthy. Beautifully designed and informative app. It’s been super simple to navigate & integrate the Catholic teachings that I specifically search for (out of interest) into my daily routine. The app provides me with a daily reflection that serves as a thoughtful reminder of the core principles and values of the Catholic faith. Very user-friendly interface (which I need), makes it easy to engage with the daily reflections without any distractions. I’ve been more and more impressed with the reflections, they are well-written and thought-provoking, offering insights & guidance on how to apply Catholic teachings to everyday life. I personally need a challenge, otherwise I get into a prayer routine that becomes repetitive. On this line I particularly appreciate how the app encourages me to take a few moments each day to reflect on my faith and spiritual journey. I’m not one to take the time to write reviews often. Whether you are a devout Catholic looking to deepen your relationship with God or someone seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith & Christianity-Truthy serves as a guiding light for those (me) seeking spiritual growth and a deeper connection to their faith.

5. 1/5Feedback on My Annual Subscription Experience

   I paid for the yearly subscription, but unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the experience. My conversation threads are randomly deleted without any notice or explanation. Whenever I reach out for support, I’m told it’s a glitch, but these issues continue to happen. Another frustration is the subscription model. After purchasing the annual plan, I started seeing advertisements encouraging me to pay for an even higher-tier annual subscription with additional features. This was confusing and frustrating because these differences were not made clear before I subscribed. Some advertised features are also unavailable. For example, the ability to upload photos and documents simply says “Coming Soon,” even though I’ve already paid for the yearly plan. One of the main reasons I chose this app was for Catholic guidance. However, when I ask it to help me rewrite or tidy up a message in a way that is faithful to Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church, it responds that it cannot help because the request is “not faith-related” and is only for answering questions about the faith. That doesn’t make sense for a Catholic AI app. If the purpose is to assist Catholics in living and communicating according to their faith, helping draft messages consistent with Catholic teaching should be part of that experience. Overall, the app has potential, but the technical issues, confusing subscription structure, unavailable features, and limitations in what I expected from a Catholic AI service have made the yearly subscription feel like poor value.
