Like others, this has also saved my relationship! Instead of constantly asking for transfers back and forth.. we just put the details in the tricount. We review it once every 3 months.. guess what: most of the time everything balances anyway over time, so this has saved us LOADS of time and unwanted stress in making sure things remain equitable between us. I even donated I love it so much. One feature I would like to add is a search feature. We throw so many expenses on here, sometimes I want to go back and check if I input it, or what it cost. At the moment I need to scroll and pay attention to each line until I find it.

Do not use this app! I was asked to update the app in order to keep using it in the middle of my trip and it completely erased all of the data from a weeklong trip right in the middle of it. There was absolutely no easy way to contact customer service and I had to Google what the parent company was in order to find a way to contact someone. The only way to contact them was via email and it was a horrible experience. They say they will get back to you in 10 hours and at first no one got back to me for about 34 hours. Now again remember this is in the middle of our trip. Finally I'm contacted by a trainee who goes back-and-forth with me over a span of TWO MORE WEEKS repeatedly telling me to do things like log out and log back in or delete the app and re-download it, while reassuring me that their team is working hard get my data back. I seriously doubt that they ever even looked at this issue, as after about a week had a they asked me what my login info was associated with my account. I asked them how they were able to be looking into my issue all this time without ever knowing which account was mine, no answer. I asked multiple times to be connected to a manager but was only ever contacted by a trainee. In the end they did not restore my trip and we lost all of our information. Save yourself a headache choose a different platform. The response to this review is ridiculous. No one from the Tricount team tried to help me. I contacted them over and over and over again for weeks and all I ever got was a response from a trainee be patient. Repeatedly I asked for someone from management to contact me and no one ever did. Don't use this app. The response to this bad review is faster than anyone ever responded to my customer service inquiries. I guess they send the same format reply to any bad review, same as they kept sending the same dumb reply to my support requests without answering or addressing a single issue.

I have used Tricount for years and my travel friends think I’m a genius (but Tricount is!). It’s easy, loved that you added math into the ‘amount’ option, and I’ve developed a strategy for ‘pencilling in’ items that need to be confirmed with final bills (like auto rental, etc). But…I came to the App site to download Splitwise or Settle Up because not having an export or big picture view of the expenses is becoming a dealbreaker for me. To have to call up each expense individually to confirm that I didn’t accidentally forget to change the payer or take one person off the split because they stayed back that night is a killer! And to have every traveler have to open every expense to make sure they didn’t accidentally contribute to ‘Mary’s shoes’ is onerous. If there is a fix or work around for this, please LMK! I’ll keep watching for it as I (very) sadly change apps.

I absolutely love this app. I truly believe it’s saved my relationship. My fiancée and I were always fighting about money and who paid for what and who owed who. This app makes it so easy. With each purchase I just input the amount and what the purchase was for and if it’s something that we should split I just check both our names. If a purchase that just he makes then I can enter the info and just check his name. It keeps up with both our money and separates our shared bills and purchases as well as keeps track of individual purchases. Absolutely amazing app. No annoying graphs or linking your accounts. It’s absolutely amazing. I’d give it 10 stars if that was an option.

The app has some issues after subscribing to the monthly plan. It says my premium plan is valid and the premium icon is shown in the top right corner but I still receive ads. I also cannot contact the team about the issue in the app because it is a premium feature. When I tap ‘Contact our team’ under Help, it asks me to sign up for premium… and when I press Ok, it takes me to a screen letting me know I am subscribed. I really hope they resolve this frustrating issue. Especially seeing the ads after paying. I changed my review score because the app has good customer support and I found that using a VPN causes some issues validating my subscription. Would still be nice if this was worked out :)

Quite good, but too simple. I regret there is no option to choose prefered currency of reimbursement for every single expense (in balances view it could suggest multi currency reimbursements among freinds).

the app is working well, but it'd be nice if we had the option under insights to list down what purchases were done under each section. For example, under groceries, list down all the purchases with label groceries.

          "body": "I have used Tricount for years and my travel friends think I’m a genius (but Tricount is!). It’s easy, loved that you added math into the ‘amount’ option, and I’ve developed a strategy for ‘pencilling in’ items that need to be confirmed with final bills (like auto rental, etc). But…I came to the App site to download Splitwise or Settle Up because not having an export or big picture view of the expenses is becoming a dealbreaker for me. To have to call up each expense individually to confirm that I didn’t accidentally forget to change the payer or take one person off the split because they stayed back that night is a killer! And to have every traveler have to open every expense to make sure they didn’t accidentally contribute to ‘Mary’s shoes’ is onerous. If there is a fix or work around for this, please LMK! I’ll keep watching for it as I (very) sadly change apps.",

          "body": "I absolutely love this app. I truly believe it’s saved my relationship. My fiancée and I were always fighting about money and who paid for what and who owed who. This app makes it so easy. With each purchase I just input the amount and what the purchase was for and if it’s something that we should split I just check both our names. If a purchase that just he makes then I can enter the info and just check his name. It keeps up with both our money and separates our shared bills and purchases as well as keeps track of individual purchases. Absolutely amazing app. No annoying graphs or linking your accounts. It’s absolutely amazing. I’d give it 10 stars if that was an option.",

          "body": "The app has some issues after subscribing to the monthly plan. It says my premium plan is valid and the premium icon is shown in the top right corner but I still receive ads. I also cannot contact the team about the issue in the app because it is a premium feature. When I tap ‘Contact our team’ under Help, it asks me to sign up for premium… and when I press Ok, it takes me to a screen letting me know I am subscribed. I really hope they resolve this frustrating issue. Especially seeing the ads after paying. I changed my review score because the app has good customer support and I found that using a VPN causes some issues validating my subscription. Would still be nice if this was worked out :)",
