   I was super skeptical!!! I questioned this app from the start but once now season showed up I was determined to make this app fail. And I say this cause it couldn’t be this easy…just find blood, with my phone. But I was dead wrong!!!!!!! This app is got to be one of the coolest things I’ve used besides my Mathews. In the 30 years I’ve been bow hunting I’ve only gut shot a deer twice. This being one of those times I was prepared to use app. So we all know how hard a gut shot blood trail is. But after 30 yds of nothing this app picked up one tiny drop… it didn’t just find the drop it searched it out and located it 7’ in front of me in high grass!!!!!! It was a game changer. I was so caught up in following the blood trail with app I had forgotten the gut shot and jumped the deer. It took me all the way to the bedded area! I’ve shared this app at least 100x!!

2. 5/5Unmatched Hunting Tracker and Mapping App

   I’ve tried several hunting apps over the years, but Track N Trail stands in a league of its own — especially when it comes to blood tracking. This feature alone makes it worth every penny. Normally, searching for a monster buck that you know you got, meant a stressful and frustrating search. But with Track N Trail’s blood tracking, I am able to follow each blood drop I find and see a real-time trail right from my phone. It helps guide me step by step and helps recover the deer quickly and efficiently. No guesswork, no backtracking — just results. If you’ve ever faced the stress of a difficult track job, this app is the tool you didn’t know you needed. I’ll never go into the woods without Track N Trail again — and if you value ethical recovery and smarter hunting, you shouldn’t either.

   It might not help in every situation, but if it’s gonna help you in one situation, it’s worth it. Imagine losing your dream buck because you couldn’t find blood when the app was right there ready to be used. It is 30 bucks which is extremely expensive for an app. In fact I’ve never buy apps. But 30 bucks is cheap insurance. You can even wait to buy it until you have a time to use it. I used it last night on a deer that was very marginally hit up high leaving little blood. I used the app to track him 600 yards and across the creek. I will say it excels on green or brown grass. Anything with red Hughes it could cause a problem.

4. 4/5Works with some common sense.

   This is extremely helpful. Yes it can pick up other reds but if you do not have an issue seeing red it is easy to figure out what is what. I used the trial on my first deer this season, not needed since it painted a path instead of a trail, but it worked well in the green and brown leaves. I bought the subscription and it’s the only reason I found my second. It doubled back on its own trail and crawled under some briars. I wouldn’t have seen the few spots under there without the app picking it up. I would have gave 5 stars but using the vibration function completely locked up my phone when I got to an area where the deer stopped and a lot of blood was in the area. My phone reset after a few minutes and I was back on the trail. Use the blue background and turn off vibration when on a heavy trail. I highly recommend.

5. 5/5Worth the money

   Downloaded this app after reading some reviews. Shot a doe with the rifle in December. Watched her run into the woods and knew she wouldn’t last long. Found blood in the cut beans and lost it at a ditch crossing. Turned on the track and trail app to find which direction she ran. It picked up on something I was like that’s not blood. Shined the light on the grass and it was the slightest speck of blood. Would’ve missed it without this app. Worth the money for sure
