  1. 5/5Love the TOZO NC7s

Wife has AirBud knock off, but one of the better ones. I got a great deal on the Tozos on Black Friday, so I treated myself after reading up on them and being pleased with what I found. The Verdict - Wow! I'm totally blown away. I wasn't expecting that at all. Incredibly intelligent system, great sound and even has a customizable EQ in the app. They beat the wannabe AirBuds all hollow and start nipping at the heels of my "go to" old school, wired, high-end Denon ear buds. The Bluetooth aspect of the Tozos is a big upgrade for me. I'm always at the end of the trend... Windows 7 with Office 2003 and the ORIGINAL MS Paint. I digress.... The proof of the face off is which ones I use the most. The Tozos! Settling in watch a movie by myself, it's the Denons. I pause the movie, remove the wired buds and then hit the fridge or whatever. It's easy. However, on a daily basis, if I want to watch TV or listen to some classic rock or oldies while I'm doing something else, it's the Tozozs. Honestly, any difference in the richness and/or accuracy between the two is nominal and not of any (or enough of) consequence, especially when they're 1/4 the price of the classic Denons. I'm giving the TOZO-NC7 five stars. I'm a grumpy old man, a true skeptic and very difficult to please. They've earned it. I'm pleased.

  2. 5/5Affordable quality

This is the third pair of TOZO earbuds I have owned. Dropped first pair out of a pocket that I had for 2 years and found them crushed in a parking lot. I replaced with apple airpods and beats by dre. I found the quality of sound with apple to be less than my Tozo’s and believe it to be related to ear fit. I do prefer the silicone seals provided with Tozo products. Beats were wired version and battery compartment fell apart after dropping. I went back for the TOZO’s. The ability to adjust the frequency output with the TOZO APP Equalizeris also allows me to adjust to what I am listening to too. Plenty of volume too. Love these things. 18 month warranty is also unheard of. Affordable and quality sound.

  3. 1/5Read the Privacy Page

Are you kidding me? No one in their right mind would agree to what you are asking of our data. People are agreeing to it because they don’t read the policy. You have no right to such blatant theft of our personal data for the reasons you state in the policy. I bought these headphones because of the availability of an app to set the EQ and customization of my listening experience. I’m so mad. I read the policy and there is no way I’m giving you access to everything I do on my phone so that you can create a profile about me and advertise to me. My weight and height in my health app is private. Who I am and the places I go with my phone in my pocket isn’t for your database. Clean up your privacy standards and stop collecting data people wouldn’t want to give just to use their earbuds more comfortably. Read the privacy statements!!! People don’t even want to give access to all this information to their spouses and yet they are allowing a database to be made on them to play with this app? Its backwards. I’m fine with my spouse knowing all this about me, but not you.

  4. 4/5Please improve EQ function!!!

I love Tozo products, and this is my first time buying one that works with the Tozo app. I really appreciate the ability to save multiple custom EQ settings (for example, even Sony only allows 2). But I’ve had a big problem getting to fine-tune them to what I want, because if you pull one dot up and down, it very easily moves another dot next to it, so you end up changing a frequency you may have wanted liked before. It makes it very difficult to be precise. The other issue I’ve had is when trying to adjust EQs, my hand has accidentally brushed one of the presets on the lower part of the screen and the app switches me to that EQ, so I lose any progress I was making on a custom one. It would be better if when we made custom EQs, it took us to a separate screen so there was no accidental switching in the middle of making one. Also I know for some of us we like to see what decibel we have each EQ frequency at (so like, -2.3, +1.5) so it’s easier to remember where we had things at before, or if we want to share EQ settings with friends. It would be nice to see the numbers WHILE adjusting at least. Lastly, I don’t know if Tozo can do this, but I’ve been able to do it with Anker speaker EQ settings so I hope Tozo can figure it out too. When trying to find the right place for each EQ setting, it would be very helpful if the actual sound of that frequency smoothly changed AS you moved the circle up and down, so you can hear it actively change and more easily find where you like it. (Instead of moving the circle and then letting it go to see if you like it at that spot or not.)

  5. 2/5Seriously?

I have a pair of NC2 earbuds which have weird touch controls that are impossible to disable. I always keep it out of noise cancelling mode, but the touch controls are weird so it turns on itself. So, I had to do something about it, and I downloaded this app hoping for a solution. But what I thought could be an efficient solution to avoid this situation just turned out to be something that doesn’t even log my device. Also, they have them in the store inside the app, which makes it even more ridiculous considering they won’t connect despite me trying all the steps given. I’ve read the reviews and each and every review referring to the NC2s are negative, and they are experiencing the exact same problem. Now I have to put up with this annoying issue with noise canceling mode turning on and off by completely random things.
