1. 2/5Great features, but only at the range

   The setup process was remarkably fast and easy. As a first-time user, I found the range touchscreen to be very intuitive. Even without instructions, I was able to navigate and start using it right away. I loved the ball-tracking feature on the touchscreen the most, which helped me see where the balls landed since I often lose track while keeping my head down during my swing. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the ball tracers were not recorded or shown in the app when I reviewed my session at home. The app seems to only provides stats, which aren’t very helpful for me. I would rate the touchscreen experience at the range five stars, but the app's post-session review functionality only two stars. Additionally, it’s disappointing that the app developer does not offer a way to provide feedback or get help.

2. 2/5App is fine, but the equipment at the range is junk

   I use this app solely as a means to sign in to a monitor at my home practice range (Miles of Golf in Michigan), and I don’t experience any problems with that function. However, when it comes to actually using the system while hitting balls, the equipment consistently either fails to detect a shot at all or grossly misreads the distance. After hitting multiple balls that don’t even register, I can then hit a shot that literally hits one of the distance flags (which I have measured with my laser multiple times), but the system will tell me it was 20 yards short. This is during the “practice” and “warmup” modes where it is not simulating hills. I’ve told the guys in the store about it a few times, but it’s never been addressed.

3. 4/5Creating an account was a nightmare but okay afterwards

   I couldn't get passed the Profile Name page. The Continue button didn't do anything; no feedback of any kind either. Tried a dozen names, tried a name of random letters, uninstalling the app, rebooting my phone ...nothing worked. After emailing back and forth with support for a hour or so, I was finally able to get past the name screen and get into the app. The app itself is pretty cool and gives you a decent amount of data about your shots (my buddy showed me his account since I couldn't get into the app at the range). Wish it showed spin but what's there is still pretty cool. Support was also pretty helpful after the first guy, quick responses, and stuck with me until we got the issue resolved.

4. 5/51 Problem

   The app is so good but there is one problem that I have. The problem that I am having is that when I am playing a course and I have to chip into the circle for birdie or par I would like for it to roll out and not have it mark it at the carry distance. My score would look a lot better if you guys could change that. But all in all the app and everything else is outstanding.

5. 2/5So Disappointing

   The technology is good and it’s fun to use but if you do anything outside of the “My Practice” portion of the app, you will never have any recorded information about the shots that were traced. For instance, if you play a full round of golf on a virtual course and you make a good shot, you better get your phone out and take a picture because they record nothing of the round except the date and score. They should take notes from the TrackMan courses where all of that data is available within minutes of finishing your round, and you get an ariel overview of the course, pin points of where your shot landed & shot data for every stroke. Time to step it up.
