  1. 5/5Times union digital print.

Overall the news is pretty good. I find the reporting for the most part isn’t true journalism but the facts with a leftist twist. That may please many of the progressives that read the paper but not us middle of the road people. We have brains and can determine right and wrong. Another biggie of late is all the pop up ads you’ve added to digital news. They are fine if your offering free print but us paying customers should not being seeing ads. Continuing these ads will result in me dropping your subscription service.

  2. 5/5Ads delete part of writings

I use E-edition of Times Union to read local news and commentary. When clicking on the link of small print, it is supposed to pop out larger font for readers. But, Ads attached to news or commentary do not display appropriately, they delete part of writings. It is annoying.

  3. 3/5Review

A few main news items are given too many columns and pages so we get less news. The sports section has been destroyed by not having late game results. These results might show up days later if at all, especially local high school scores. In order to save on print, it’s made smaller and smaller to fit everything on one page, very difficult to read. I have had the Times Union and the Knickerbocker for over 70 years and the paper has faded drastically. I enjoy the Perspective page, the cartoons, and I would like to see more local area news.

  4. 1/5Far far far to the left

When we lived in RI I thought the Providence Journal was very far left. However the Times Union is even worse. You let Biden sleepwalk through four years and not a peep. If Trump cured cancer you would write that he’s ruining things for Oncologists. If your wish came true and Harris and Waltz were in power we would all soon be speaking Chinese an Russian. Your cartoon page is particularly disgusting with all of its anti Trump venom. On the bright side I do enjoy some local news, nature articles, weather, food reviews, and the Jumble. Unfortunately you don’t carry the Sunday Jumble. Luckily I have the NY Post and Fox News to stay sane.

  5. 1/5Depressing

After being a member for 20 years, it’s time to cut the cord. Unfortunately, the most articles are negative and critical. They imply the sky’s falling. My favorite two sections are sports and business. The sports section is upbeat and focuses on local high school sports which is admirable. The business section is basically worthless. If I was not a Capital Region resident I would think there is little to no growth here. Even the articles that involve growth have a negative twist. I want to read a factual, unbiased newspaper where the opinions are in the opinion section. I want the local, state, and national articles to be factual without a political spin.
