"body": "I use E-edition of Times Union to read local news and commentary. When clicking on the link of small print, it is supposed to pop out larger font for readers. But, Ads attached to news or commentary do not display appropriately, they delete part of writings. It is annoying.",

"body": "So frustrating. The ads at the top have gotten larger and more intrusive and you can’t diminish them so now the paper is smaller. You can only arrow forward or back from the front page to the last page and not to each section. None of the “buttons” ( print, mail etc) work. I read there is a ‘gift button’ but I have never seen it. I have apps for several papers, including one from a much smaller market, and they are all by far better than this one.",

"body": "A few main news items are given too many columns and pages so we get less news. The sports section has been destroyed by not having late game results. These results might show up days later if at all, especially local high school scores. In order to save on print, it’s made smaller and smaller to fit everything on one page, very difficult to read. I have had the Times Union and the Knickerbocker for over 70 years and the paper has faded drastically. I enjoy the Perspective page, the cartoons, and I would like to see more local area news.",

"body": "I realize local newspapers have to pay the bills. But I can get basic local TV news free online and easily. The Times Union should offer a couple important stories (such as health- related developments or community- benefit info.) for free. I could go broke and drive myself nuts if I had to keep track of being a paid subscriber to every periodical or news outlet out there.",

"body": "Turns out if I use a VPN I can’t read the paper. This needs a fix. Even going through a browser fails with a VPN. I can no longer read the e-edition. Works fine on my Pixel phone so it’s the app. Going to cancel my subscription as I can read it through the library online Monday-Sat for free. I’d still pay if this worked as I like reading on my iPad, especially Sundays.",
