4/5For all the news we need and current events around Port Huron.
No Investigative Journalism. No Border Stories regarding The Chemical Valley and Line 5 nor any Environmental Exposes. There’s No Opinion-Editorial Page either. Very little regarding Education Secondary Education and Health. The Times Herald is a simple, low budget Gannett Publication. It is improving in the past decade. I am glad the religious Columnist retired and has not been replaced. The Journalism is sub-par and they never dig deep into any story nor question Anyone related to the Story nor ever hardly quote anyone. It’s also a Newspaper largely edited by AI. But it’s better than nothing. Our ‘Freedom of The Press’ is our Nation’s most Powerful Tool. I hope the Times Herald Does continue to improve.

I moved home to Port Huron and wanted to stay up to date on local news. This app is perfect because I work out of town for several days at a time so getting the paper would be difficult. The app allows me to stay up to date even when away.

It’s okay. It has local news for my hometown. There isn’t a LOT of content, seems like the ‘top stories’ change quite infrequently, but it look at that as ‘good’. The less ‘top stories’ in the news, just means there are less problems happening in my hometown. I feel the ‘regular’ price for my local news, I think it was $10 a week(?) or maybe a month I forget, either way it’s TOO MUCH! Especially with a digital subscription! There is not enough news to warrant that price! Especially when I have NO INTEREST in sports! When sports are over half the content. I realize that the special offer, of $1.00 for 6 month, is also too low. There should be a medium ground.. $3.00 - $5.00 a month? Then I would keep it.

1/5Big mistake ! Won’t renew subscription.
Hate the app!! Not user friendly. Takes two / three more steps than before to even pull up the daily paper. Today the paper won’t even load !!! Just a grey screen. I can get top story category open but not enewspaper. Happens now and then. Absolutely hate the new share page . Never says if page was sent . Only lights up emails in green once you press the send button. Not sure what is improved with this app- it’s more of a hassle to me now. Sorry . I wanted to like it , but it is an irritant everyday now. Won’t renew subscription . And again…… paper will not load !

1/5Can,t read as e-newspaper and no place to call for support
I have been reading The Times Herald for years on my iPad and in e-newspaper mode. Then one day I open your app and it’s in Top Story mode and will NOT open in e-newspaper mode. I’ve cleared the iPad cache, turned the iPad off and on, deleted the app and reinstalled, checked to make sure my iPad and the Times Herald app were both up to date and they were. All to no avail. I cannot open the Times Herald in e-newspaper mode. To make matters worse I cannot find anywhere a phone number or website for support.
