When I say I've tried task management planners (and paid exhorbitant amounts of $$$ over the years) I'm very serious. From Evernote, to Todoist, to every calendar app and planner out there. I stumbled on this one and at first glance was not terribly impressed. I was looking for a simple color coded planner that I could put some MUST DO tasks on a widget to see everytime I open my phone. I almost deleted the app. Then I explored it a bit and found this SPLIT SCREEN concept where I have my Apple Reminders on one side and a blank slate of time slots on the other side. You can easily drag over, edit and expand those items you want to do in times slots you allot. Seems simple and something you should be able to do with lots of other apps, but this one does EXTREMELY WELL. IT HAS NOW BECOME MY ESSENTIAL DAILY TASK MANAGER. Now I still use my Todoist, Evernote, Reminders, and several others, but front and center is TimeFinder. The homescreen widget works well, but I'm hoping the lock screen widget will be released soon. And support has been flawless. Well worth it for me. Nothing less than 5 stars.

5/5Best value time boxing app. Great developer!
Timefinder is the best time boxing app I've found (and I've tried most of them). The app is easy to use, imports calendar events well, provides solid customization options, and might be (from the apps I've tested) the only fully cross-platform Apple app (available on macOS, scales well on iPad and iPhone) I've seen for time boxing. The app syncs pretty seamlessly across devices, too. The developer is also super responsive and open to feedback, which I've thoroughly appreciated. Luke has helped me troubleshoot any problem I've had within the same day. Timefinder fits right into my workflow even though I use multiple tools (calendar apps/Things/Notion) to organize my time - it's right up there with the tools that I use most. The ability to see all events within certain time boxes and time box additional events/tasks without having those sync directly to my calendar has been great and provides me with an efficient way to plan out any free time I have without impacting my calendars directly. Love TimeFinder!

5/5Looking for an effective productivity app? This is it.
I use Apple's native reminders and calendar app a lot to take note of what I need to do and plan things out. So where does timefinder come in? TimeFinder will sync your calendar and reminders content, and you can view them in a synchronized manner across different devices, all at one place. The split view is one of my favorite feature, where on half of the window shows the calendar like schedule and the other half the reminders list. You can also move around the activities and place your reminders at a certain time whenever you want, wherever you want. Native Apple apps will be where I can just write things, and this app is where I actually organize everything and look at to go through my days. This app is super flexible, and it seems like there always is something new coming in. Not only that, the developer is super responsive to feedbacks and questions, which I appreciate.

5/5My favorite app for time management
This app has exceeded my expectations; so versatile and intuitive. The tutorial has you up and running quickly with how to create, edit and use personalized lists on your schedule. The split view screen is perfect for looking backward and forward to move your scheduling blocks and view your lists. You can easily drag from multiple lists, which can be color-coded while working on your schedule. Depending on your day, you can customize 15-minute, 30-minute, or hour-long blocks of time. In addition to setting up repeating time blocks, you can decide when your day starts and ends. There is even an import and export function that you can sync with iCal. Lastly, Luke responded quickly to my inquiry with support and kindness, which makes the app invaluable. Of course, it was this user’s error, as the instructions were clear.

5/5This is how you save your day.
Ok, here is the thing, if you use this app, you will truly get your tasks done and reclaim your day. If you just download the app, you will not. It’s important to make timefinder a part of your morning, and it is also important to use your reminders app (or some other task app) to get your tasks in there. The magic of time finder is that you have to think about how long something is going to take you, and then you will feel like to have to accomplish it. I have pretty bad ADHD, and this helps keep the pressure on. Otherwise I do deep dives into bacteria found in rabbits ears or how many cargo ships have sunk in the last 50 years. It is 100% worth it to spend 10 minutes at the start of your day, or the end of the previous day to plan out your day. Plan in SOME free time, so that you can have a place where you just handle immediate ’emergency’ stuff. Maybe 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at afternoon. I plan in my morning exercises, rest, meals. The app will move you along. But you get a real feeling of accomplishment.

From Evernote, to Todoist, to every calendar app and planner out there. I stumbled on this one and at first glance was not terribly impressed. I was looking for a simple color coded planner that I could put some MUST DO tasks on a widget to see everytime I open my phone. I almost deleted the app. Then I explored it a bit and found this SPLIT SCREEN concept where I have my Apple Reminders on one side and a blank slate of time slots on the other side. You can easily drag over, edit and expand those items you want to do in times slots you allot. Seems simple and something you should be able to do with lots of other apps, but this one does EXTREMELY WELL. IT HAS NOW BECOME MY ESSENTIAL DAILY TASK MANAGER. Now I still use my Todoist, Evernote, Reminders, and several others, but front and center is TimeFinder. The homescreen widget works well, but I'm hoping the lock screen widget will be released soon. And support has been flawless. Well worth it for me. Nothing less than 5 stars.",

          "body": "Timefinder is the best time boxing app I've found (and I've tried most of them). The app is easy to use, imports calendar events well, provides solid customization options, and might be (from the apps I've tested) the only fully cross-platform Apple app (available on macOS, scales well on iPad and iPhone) I've seen for time boxing. The app syncs pretty seamlessly across devices, too. The developer is also super responsive and open to feedback, which I've thoroughly appreciated. Luke has helped me troubleshoot any problem I've had within the same day. Timefinder fits right into my workflow even though I use multiple tools (calendar apps/Things/Notion) to organize my time - it's right up there with the tools that I use most. The ability to see all events within certain time boxes and time box additional events/tasks without having those sync directly to my calendar has been great and provides me with an efficient way to plan out any free time I have without impacting my calendars directly. Love TimeFinder!",

TimeFinder will sync your calendar and reminders content, and you can view them in a synchronized manner across different devices, all at one place. The split view is one of my favorite feature, where on half of the window shows the calendar like schedule and the other half the reminders list. You can also move around the activities and place your reminders at a certain time whenever you want, wherever you want. Native Apple apps will be where I can just write things, and this app is where I actually organize everything and look at to go through my days. This app is super flexible, and it seems like there always is something new coming in. Not only that, the developer is super responsive to feedbacks and questions, which I appreciate.",

          "body": "This app has exceeded my expectations; so versatile and intuitive. The tutorial has you up and running quickly with how to create, edit and use personalized lists on your schedule. The split view screen is perfect for looking backward and forward to move your scheduling blocks and view your lists. You can easily drag from multiple lists, which can be color-coded while working on your schedule. Depending on your day, you can customize 15-minute, 30-minute, or hour-long blocks of time. In addition to setting up repeating time blocks, you can decide when your day starts and ends. There is even an import and export function that you can sync with iCal. Lastly, Luke responded quickly to my inquiry with support and kindness, which makes the app invaluable. Of course, it was this user’s error, as the instructions were clear.",

          "body": "Ok, here is the thing, if you use this app, you will truly get your tasks done and reclaim your day. If you just download the app, you will not. It’s important to make timefinder a part of your morning, and it is also important to use your reminders app (or some other task app) to get your tasks in there. The magic of time finder is that you have to think about how long something is going to take you, and then you will feel like to have to accomplish it. I have pretty bad ADHD, and this helps keep the pressure on. Otherwise I do deep dives into bacteria found in rabbits ears or how many cargo ships have sunk in the last 50 years. It is 100% worth it to spend 10 minutes at the start of your day, or the end of the previous day to plan out your day. Plan in SOME free time, so that you can have a place where you just handle immediate ’emergency’ stuff. Maybe 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at afternoon. I plan in my morning exercises, rest, meals. The app will move you along. But you get a real feeling of accomplishment.",
