   Yes I have been using Tides PRO for many years. I know of at least five years of use and it’s right on the money every time so if you need to know you’re tides this is the one program you need.

2. 1/5Refunds are due for all who purchased this app for it’s Apple Watch functionality

   The developers of Tides Pro, Elecont LLC, have had over 3 months, as all developers received beta access June 4th, to update their app in time for the public release of IOS 12 and WatchOS 5. Upon the initial payment for the purchase of Tides Pro, it was never presented as a purchase for only a specified timeframe and had that been the case, Elecont LLC would’ve been fine in failing to continue updating this app. I have over 100 apps on my iPhone, 90% of which I didn’t pay for, and they have all been updated prior to the public release of IOS 12 and WatchOS 5, as that’s the expected norm. In failing to find time to update Tides Pro in the period since June 4th, Elecont LLC needs to refund those of us who purchased this app in good faith that they would uphold their end of the purchase agreement by keeping it functional with the Apple Watch. That is the right thing to do by any ethical standard and Elecont LLC should additionally remove the statements and pictures indicating Tides Pro has current functionality with the Apple Watch. I will be flagging it and alerting Apple as to the current false advertising and expect a refund ASAP. I’ll finish by noting that since Tides Pro’s inception in 2015, per version release notes on the App Store, they have made a total of 2 new releases in the life of the app. It should be noted that most apps eclipse this number of versions in a month. Hopefully, Elecont LLC will update the app and repair the functionality issues with the Apple Watch. I hope they find embarrassment in the fact that of all my Apple Watch Apps, they are the sole app that is listed as incompatible and that this glaring failure is enough to incite action to update.

3. 4/5Nice basics - would like some improvements

   Easy to select tide stations. Graph is easy to read, but you really got to smooth the trace. What i would really like is to have the Apple Watch complication keep current. If I look at my watch face the indicator should show the tide in the state at that time. It is correct sometimes, but often when I tap on it, the app opens and I see the graphic update with a significant shift. Tide period is around 12 hours, so an update every 15min would be fine. I just recently saw the indicator in the complication jump from full high to dead low.

4. 4/5Here is how to use the complications on watch

   Took me a while to figure out. On the watch itself, push and hold on the watch face, then tap the edit button. Swipe to the left twice to the complications screen. Tap the complication you want to change. Then scroll to find the Tides Pro complication. For some reason it shows up in this place on the watch, but never shows up on the editor in the watch app on the phone. I hope this helps!

   I like the Tides PRO app very much. I have it on my iPhone my iPad and my Apple Watch. I like being able to know where were at on the tide in the moon at a glance anytime while I’m fishing or in my chair at home the night before I’m planning a trip. I specially like being able to use it on my iPad.
