I've never experienced any lag or downtime, which is amazing considering it's a free service. I also love the additional features that textPlus offers, such as the ability to send pictures and videos, and even make group calls. It's like having a full-fledged phone service without the hefty price tag. The customer support team is also top-notch. I had a question about my account, and they responded promptly and helped me resolve the issue. "body": "This app is amazing, very helpful, I have been in network for years and spending a lot of amounts of money every month for absolutely no one to text or call me other then priority people of governments or medication purposes I stopped paying bunch of money for networks even if they are unlimited and special and u mostly doing nothing in ur phone literally worthless, until I found a app called TextNow this was perfect for me since phone number isn’t priority to have specifically when u have WhatsApp I mean imagine in Asian or middle eastern countries or even Europe when they stop their network they don’t lose their phone number or gets dead.. not like how it is in America or even Canada, but I found TextNow the best way to deal with stuff, also very perfect price even if it’s a second number or acting like the app of WhatsApp does, I still find it very good and perfect for me, 5 dollar for keeping the phone forever and sending and calling people unlimited it’s amazing price and even if it works only when WiFi is available I still find it perfect.",

"body": "I had this app and the same number, for several months. Didn’t send many texts though. Then, I decided to use it as my main texting number. About 20 days in BAM! I wasn’t getting messages and mine weren’t going out. Ok, contact support and after jumping through a few hoops, they gave the lame excuse that it was my carrier. Which was a crock. Because I had the app on two different devices with different carriers. If it had been my carrier, then it would have worked on at least one of my devices. Eventually, I was logged out of my account on both devices and not able to get back in. Sooooo…after a month or so, decided to download it and try again. Because before all that happened, it was actually a pretty neat app. I was able to get a new account, different number. And it worked great…until I actually started using it. Heck I even paid for a month of no ads. Then BAM! I am logged out and can’t log back in. Sent a report to support. Still haven’t heard back. But this app is good, if you don’t use it much. But more than 3 chats and it’s like they lose their minds and close the account. And although 99 cents won’t make or break me, I still feel ripped off!",

"body": "This app needs to address a couple of issues. I am going to name two: I have yet to receive a call successfully as the call drops or doesn’t ring long enough to give the user enough time to answer before the call is dropped. It looks like there’s been a recent update, but again, I have yet to receive a successful call. The second issue (which I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled in an attempt to fix selecting a new phone number) is I get a series of random texts at all hours of the day/night with random messages from people I don’t know. I think it’s an attempt from other users to keep the free number for longer than the given week, so they randomly text other numbers? That’s my guess, so bringing back the free phone number for a month instead of a week may help fix this issue? But it’s annoying and my husband has uninstalled the application for the same reason. In all, I only use the app to have a free number to give out when I don’t want to disclose my personal number but going to be looking for other options. Not satisfied.",

"body": "I have been wanting an app so I can text friends. I have been using this app for…I kind of forgot how long- but anyways, it’s pretty good! However, I wish I didn’t have to be active on the app to see messages. What i mean by this is, let’s say I’m doing something other than texting; suddenly, I get a notification. Now, here’s the thing, I’m not active on this app, so when I hop onto the app, it doesn’t show the message. If I’m offline, it won’t show any messages I got while I was doing something different unless I open my notifications; which is hard to do as it keeps taking me to the app. So half of the memes my friends send me, I can’t even see since I wasn’t online. (I hope whoever’s reading this understands what I’m saying, I’m kinda bad at explaining stuff-) I’m unsure if this issue could be fixed or not, but if it’s possible, that would be great! Also, I’m unsure if it’s the app or just my device.",
