3/5Good app that I wish were a little better
Overall I like this app and it is very useful for remote connections and Linux shell emulation, but I can’t figure out how to type an underscore using the provided keyboard. The app is nice and the features that are there do work well (key based authentication, shell emulator) but the lack of customization and oversights like the one I described make it hard for me to recommend it.

1/5It’s unofficial and a payment trap
The app offers free usage with a downside of ads- but they can’t even offer that. The second you enter the app it’s already obvious what’s coming; the next button and the page dots at the top- it’s a payment plan. Even after closing that, the app doesn’t let you start a terminal server or even interact with most buttons as they all lead back to the plan page. It’s all trapped behind a paywall- and from what other reviews have mentioned, the payments themselves are misleading- all leading to a yearly fee and other plans hidden in settings. It’s not the official app for Termux, which is available on most other platforms, but it deceives you by disguising itself as such- and on another note, the developers feedback does not feel even remotely human.

1/5One-time payment option still not fixed - misleading and unacceptable
It is now March 3, 2026, over a month after the developer acknowledged this issue (per another 1 star review in January), and the one-time payment option is still not fixed. The app clearly presents a choice between a yearly subscription and a one-time payment, but when you actually click the supposed one-time payment option, it still charges you for a subscription. This is very deceptive. Presenting a one-time purchase option that actually triggers a recurring subscription is not acceptable behavior. Even more concerning is that this issue was reported publicly, the developer responded saying they would investigate it, and nothing has changed more than a month later. This type of behavior undermines user trust in the App Store ecosystem. Apple should be held accountable for allowing apps that advertise one-time purchases but actually charge subscriptions. Users deserve clear and honest pricing, not misleading payment options.

1/5It’s not free
I wanted a Linux terminal that I could buy in my age range but apparently I’m “too young and don’t don’t know how to operate Linux” so I found this to kill time on my vacation, but it’s like 30$ to be able to make a server or do anything. I guess I’ll wait out the vacation so I could play on my raspberry pi or luckfox mini a rather than spend double the price. Even Linux is free but this is the ‘app store’ or ‘launcher’ to one app which is either a subscription or 20+$. Or you can skip everything and get something else (it’s for your money and sanity) for some reason, all of the 5 star ratings are like the same formality as the developer but shorter or longer

1/5Claims to be a terminal is a cash grab
I was looking for a thing to give me remote access to my servers through ssh when all I have is a phone, this looked perfect, it said it could do exactly that. However any button I could click aside from the settings button asked me to buy premium. I could understand adds, I could understand limited features, but when your definite feature is Terminal and SSH, I hope I could use them without paying at least a few times.
