1. 5/5Great accessory for Pages!

   Templates for Pages offers, as its name implies, a large variety of templates of a number of different types for use with Pages. What I particularly like about it is that the templates are composites of all of their separate pieces, so that you can resize or delete a frame, or a star, or a symbol, or change one, or pull a frame or other element in from a different Template, without changing the background. This makes these Templates much more versatile than those I have found in other template packages. While I own a variety of packages of templates, I usually find myself reverting to these, when I want to create a poster, or flyer, or invitation quickly, yet have it not look “the same” as others I’ve done in the past. Additionally, Templates for Pages is updated pretty frequently, and new templates are added with the updates, giving the designer ever-increasing options within this template set.

2. 5/5Restores the library of rich templates lost in v. 6 of Pages

   Like a lot of people, I wasn’t happy when Apple dumbed down Pages so it would run on iOS. I had frequently used the wide variety of templates included in earlier versions, which I used to make marketing materials such as newsletters, book proposals and post card designs. Actually, this app provides hundreds of templates, many of which are excellent, so at last v.6 of Pages is better than v.5. The time this has saved me by not having to create/customize templates myself make the cost of Templates for Pages an excellent value. So simple to use, there was no need of reading instructions.

   This is a very large selection of templates from badges, books, pamphlets, business cards, brochure, greeting cards, invitations, postcards, CD covers, certificates, employee id, envelopes, fax’s, flyers, invoices, labels, bookmarks, magazines, letters, manuals, meeting notes, memo’s, menus, newsletters, posters. proposals, reports, and resume. Many like books, magazines etc are serveral pages long so compete designs. Almost all are availble in portrait and landscape. For the money it is a lot of design stuff, for sure will be more than you will ever use. Easy to work with and modify or combine. You can load what you want into your templates in pages so you dont have to go through all of it.

4. 5/5Great; Exactly as Advertised

   A metric sH!t-ton of really good templates for Pages. I really didn't know Pages was this powerful; it's not quite InDesign, but it IS a very powerful application (still waiting for ALL Pages '09 functionality to be restored though). Great templates here, and a good way to learn what Pages is capable of. Currently 2.57 GB, so plenty of templates for almost all needs.

5. 2/5Meh… Don’t get fooled

   Be aware if you buy this, that almost all templates in this pack look great until you download them and you realize that it’s pretty much just the first page or two. None of them are complete and well thought through. I feel like this company gave a room full of designers a quota and said, you’ll get paid by the number you produce, but no need to design past page 2. These templates are like fashion models, shiny and attractive from a glance, but not alot of substance inside. Wish I didn’t buy. Oh well.
