  1. 5/5to improve.

Hello, I am a paid subscriber of Teleprompter: Floating Notes and I love the app concept. However, I have been experiencing an issue with the floating window feature on my iPhone. The floating window only shows the script text — the control buttons (play, pause, rewind, fast forward) that appear in your app screenshots and promotional images are not visible at all. No matter how many times I tap the floating window, the buttons never appear. I have already tried: • Updating the app to the latest version (2.5.4) • Closing and reopening the app completely • Resizing the floating window The floating window shows a white background with text only, but no controls. My question is: is there a setting I am missing to make these buttons appear? And if this is a known bug, is it possible to add visible control buttons directly inside the floating window in a future update? This feature would make a huge difference for content creators who record with external camera apps. Thank you for your support. I look forward to your response. Best regards

  2. 2/5Did you happen to mess up?

I use the AI follower, because it’s the only way to use the app seamlessly. However, if you happen to mess up your script, instead of just scrolling back a bit to make editing easier, you need to close your camera app, reopen your teleprompter app, remove the floating feature, scroll up, select AI mode again, select floater feature again, pivot the floater so that it is in the right orientation, close the teleprompter app, reopen your camera app, select the video mode and then do another take. Did that feel like a lot of steps, well get use to it. Also, it might not even be when you mess up, the AI follower might just mess up and not scroll down, causing you to mess up because the feature is glitchy. The way to fix all of this would be if I could scroll back a bit on the floater feature of the teleprompter app. A simple feature, yet they don’t have it, so using the app is impractical.

  3. 1/5Horrible User Interface

The app actually does not work like it’s supposed to. First, if you use your native iPhone camera app with the Teleprompter and you make a mistake, you cannot stop or scroll back without actually stopping your recording and going back into the Teleprompter app. You can’t scroll back any and that makes for horrible recording. Secondly, there’s an issue with the remote control. Once you select allow remote control feature, it does not work. I’ve have an iPad and I’ve tried using my iPad as a remote control for my iPhone but it does not connect. It never shows the device. Thirdly, oftentimes the menu to change settings does not open so you have to close the app and start all over again in order to get the menu options to show up. All in all, I had to rate this app 2 stars because there’s just not enough working features and I have the paid premium version. The user interface is just horrible.

  4. 4/5Fantastic app, just a tweek or two for 5 stars

Love the app, using it on my iPad Pro and also my Silicon & Intel Macs to narrate ScreenFlow videos. I noticed that when running on Mac the Edit button greys-out so Editing is disabled: so once I paste my text into a new Script I cannot ever change it. I can only Delete that Script. So on the Mac side, I must just do my narration Scripts in Apple Notes or something else, then paste them here when narrrating. Would be easier on Mac if I could edit the Scripts, like I can on my iPad Pro. Otherwise fantastice app! PS iClouid Sync of Scripts would be a nice "fuiture" feature, for users like me using this app on Mac and iOS plactorm.

  5. 4/5LA Developing Inc.

Fairly easy to use, overall good Teleprompter. Does not allow you to use the cinematic mode in the iPhone, which would give a better depth of field and overall look. It’s a little clunky when you’re trying to stop the text from scrolling, there should be some buttons for that. But overall, it's an easy app to use, and I keep it as one of my tools. Would also be good if you're gonna have a little more control on the video settings.
