  1. 1/5Too many bugs PLEASE FIX IT!!!

It’s all messed up. It works but only after many attempts. Get ready to waste your time making it work. The “double click” on floating mode doesn’t work. You have to open the app again, and start over. Sometimes it doesn't even respond to “pause” or “play” properly. The speed is messed up sometimes as well. Out of nowhere in the middle of the recoding, it simply speeds up… and you have to stop recording, open the app, start over… it’s a freaking headache. And I paid for it. The saddest part. I can’t under why they don’t fix all the bugs.

  2. 2/5Did you happen to mess up?

I use the AI follower, because it’s the only way to use the app seamlessly. However, if you happen to mess up your script, instead of just scrolling back a bit to make editing easier, you need to close your camera app, reopen your teleprompter app, remove the floating feature, scroll up, select AI mode again, select floater feature again, pivot the floater so that it is in the right orientation, close the teleprompter app, reopen your camera app, select the video mode and then do another take. Did that feel like a lot of steps, well get use to it. Also, it might not even be when you mess up, the AI follower might just mess up and not scroll down, causing you to mess up because the feature is glitchy. The way to fix all of this would be if I could scroll back a bit on the floater feature of the teleprompter app. A simple feature, yet they don’t have it, so using the app is impractical.

  3. 1/5Horrible User Interface

The app actually does not work like it’s supposed to. First, if you use your native iPhone camera app with the Teleprompter and you make a mistake, you cannot stop or scroll back without actually stopping your recording and going back into the Teleprompter app. You can’t scroll back any and that makes for horrible recording. Secondly, there’s an issue with the remote control. Once you select allow remote control feature, it does not work. I’ve have an iPad and I’ve tried using my iPad as a remote control for my iPhone but it does not connect. It never shows the device. Thirdly, oftentimes the menu to change settings does not open so you have to close the app and start all over again in order to get the menu options to show up. All in all, I had to rate this app 2 stars because there’s just not enough working features and I have the paid premium version. The user interface is just horrible.

  4. 2/5Great Idea. Still has kinks

Free with ads, $20/year OR $40 lifetime access. App is a solid idea of floating a teleprompter. 1. You can use other apps while reading. 2. You appear to have it memorized. 3. You can record with your personal camera settings. Where it falls short: 1. When starting Teleprompter, you must float it before a countdown begins. Or you will have to wait until the script is rolling to go into another app. Pro tip: set 10 second countdown. 2. Teleprompter disappears when you open up camera. Not terrible, but you will have to set a high countdown timer to ensure you have time to leave this app, go into camera app, hit record and begin to read without appearing rushed. Max is 10 seconds. I had to choose that. 3. Once I agreed to a free trial, the app started malfunctioning. I closed it out and restarted it about 5 times before I downloaded another app. 4. When I would open the app after malfunctions it would immediately start the timer. Even though the app had just been “shut down”. While timer is counting down, I cannot float it, adjust speed etc. so I had to wait 10 seconds each time I opened the app to adjust anything. 5. When it’s floating, you cannot stop or start the teleprompter. Double clicking makes it toggle between a small floating square and one that takes the upper third of the screen. You will always have to go back into app to start teleprompter which is why it makes sense to set camera angle, start 10 second timer, then go back into camera app and hit record. If you miss the ten seconds you have to go back into the teleprompter app and wait until the prompt is finished then it auto stops and you can restart script. 6. Ads were about 45-60 seconds. I got ads from trying to float the teleprompter. After ad ends, it says reward granted…there is no reward and when you try to float it again, you get the same prompt for an ad that you watch another minute, and it loops like this. Would’ve paid $40 for life but glad I tried the free trial instead. Went with another app. Filmed 6 pieces of content instantly and for free 🤷🏾‍♀️

  5. 1/5OhmyGahhhh

The ads are extremely persistent. To use the floating feature, you have to either pay or watch two ads. That would be mildly annoying if the app also didn’t glitch and undo your settings almost every time you restart your script. So then you have to close the floating screen, watch ads, redo your settings, then reopen the teleprompter and hope it saved your settings or you will have to watch two more ads to adjust. Very glitchy and each glitch sets you back 3-5 min. Then once the teleprompter starts, if you mess up, you can’t rewind it without restarting the entire process again. Extremely annoying.
