   Update: Technogym team quickly fixed the issue I had complained about and pushed a new update. Things are back to normal and my Apple Watch is connected and syncing again! Old: Latest app update broke ability to connect to Apple Watch which was the reason I bought the Techogym tredmill in the first place. Once fixed I would revise to a five star review.

2. 2/5Good app, but missing key features for filters, class sorting, and participant visibility

   Hello, I use the Technogym app to book classes at my gym (Unique Sudoeste club – Brasília, DF, Brazil). I appreciate the convenience of booking classes; however, I have some criticisms and suggestions that would greatly improve the app’s usability. (1) Saving filters in the class booking feature: In the Technogym app, it is not possible to save different filters for quick access later, as was possible in the My Wellness app. In that app, I used to save a different filter for each class or group of similar classes, making it easy to access them when booking. In the Technogym app, it is only possible to add a single filter with all the classes I want. There is no option to save multiple filters for quick access at other times. I request that a feature be added to allow saving multiple filters in the class booking section. (2) Alphabetical order of classes when adding a filter: When creating a filter in the class booking feature, the list of classes appears in a random order, which makes it difficult to find the classes I want. I request that classes be displayed in alphabetical order when adding a filter. (3) Visibility of the maximum number of participants: Before the booking window opens, it is not possible to see the maximum number of participants for a class, as this information is only visible during the booking time. I request that the maximum number of participants be visible at all times, not only during the booking window. Thank you for your attention. I would appreciate a response regarding my suggestions. 3. 2/5Frustratingly incomplete

   I’ve tried workouts to see what it offered but the transition from on exercise to the next is non existent without input. Don’t get me started on weighted equipment as set are not tracked at all. I could list 30 sets of an exercise and click done and it records it as I’ve done the work. No way to do a set record it the do the next and record it with the timed break to show countdown in between till the next set of said exercise. Doesn’t list all the Techno equipment in the list to choose from. Yes you can log into equipment. But it does record data back to Apple health for the type of workout you’re doing. You’re better off if an Apple user using the Apple Watch To connect to the equipment if you are data driven to see how your performance is improving. I’ll keep the app but won’t be using it to log exercise data. Maybe it’ll improve.

4. 2/5Great when it works, but extremely unreliable

   I use the Technogym app daily to create and track my workouts. I like being able to save my routines, see my previous weights, track sets and reps, time my rest periods, and monitor progressive overload from week to week. When everything works properly, the app is genuinely useful. The problem is that my saved workouts frequently will not load or start correctly. I can open the workout and see the exercises, but after pressing start, the actual workout screen sometimes never appears. This has happened more than 20 times. When this happens, the workout timer may still be running in the background, but I cannot mark sets or exercises as completed, update my reps or weights, or use the rest timers. After finishing my workout, the app will show something like “0 of 9 exercises completed,” even though I completed the entire session. This completely defeats the purpose of using a workout-tracking app, especially for someone who relies on it daily to monitor progress and workout duration. The app has a lot of potential and several features I really like, but the reliability needs to improve. Please fix the issue with saved workouts failing to load after they are started.

5. 1/5Connectivity Issue with MyRun Treadmill

   Update: “I previously reported an issue with the app disconnecting from the Technogym MyRun treadmill. I followed up via email as instructed, and was told the issue would be investigated and I would receive a response. However, it’s been about three weeks, and I have not received any follow-up or resolution. Due to this, I’ve canceled my monthly subscription, as I’m dissatisfied with the service and the lack of support. I hope this issue can be addressed soon.” ————————- I’m using the Technogym MyRun treadmill and the app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 18.2.1. Unfortunately, the app disconnects from the treadmill after a few seconds of connection, making it impossible to continue the workout. This greatly affects the user experience. Please address this issue in future updates. Thank you for your efforts!
