  1. 5/5Easy to set up and tons of functionality

I’ve been using this app for several years now and love it. I coordinate a ceramics program at our elementary school and needed to find a way to schedule the resources we use. We have about 50 volunteers every year who use the app and it is so intuitive and easy to learn and use. This app fit our needs perfectly.

  2. 3/5Great but could be better

I started using this calendar for our office employees. It was the best I had come across in a long time. It was the easiest to add new appointments to our schedule and easily post vacation days for employees to view (only 9 employees and we avoid more than a couple of people off at one time). Easy to invite or remove people from a calendar share & views are customizable. If there was anything I could change it would be an alert for anyone following a calendar and customizable so that anyone not needing the alert could shut it off without affecting the other people getting an alert. At this point the only possible alert system with this app is an email which is virtually useless since it isn’t feasible for us to all have notifications for an email turned on our phones. The next change I would make is having the ability to look back at old calendar years. It’s come to my notice that after we used this app for more than a year, our entries are no longer available after a year. Since we made the mistake of relying solely on this app to schedule employees, now I have no way of looking back to see who took which holiday and who was bad about shirking responsibilities for coverage. At the very least this should have been communicated to users from the developers so that we could either purchase a version allowing for this or make it a policy to printing each calendar month before Teamup removed the information from the database. Trying to save a tree and use an electronic version of our good old dependable pen & paper calendar has been a bad move for us. Currently looking for a calendar that doesn’t remove our content.

  3. 3/5Data Retention

I thought this calendar was perpetual. I just realized it is keeping history for only 1 year. My family needs a calendar to keep track of medical appointments history, as well as other history. It had been particularly useful for our daughter, who has traumatic brain injury memory issues. She appreciated being able to go back and look up something she had done. Plus good for aging parents also with increasing memory issues! Other than that, it has been good for multiple family members to avoid conflicts in scheduling multiple items. Paid version is too expensive for family use, and it is not a full perpetual calendar either, still lose info after a few years. Would work if could export to pdf with all notes, but don’t believe this can be done either.

  4. 4/5Great!

I find your app to be great! I use it daily for work and in our company it is a wonderful tool to have. I can’t believe the app doesn’t have push notifications. I schedule and run appointments for developmentally disabled individuals and my administration and management team rely on this app to keep track of outings. Since we each contribute to the calendar, and we all have it on our phones, there is no way of notifying us if there are changes (ie events added or modified) which means we’d have to continually check the app for changes. I have found signing up for email notifications is the only way I can work around all of us being able to get notified of changes. If the app would have a push notification feature it would make it perfect!

  5. 3/5Limited

The app is very limited compared to features and usability of the web app. Also, I was very disappointed that you can’t define timezone separately for start and end times. I was entering information for a trip that crosses time zones and could not change the timezones when creating the event. Many views are advertised but the Agenda view does not show days with no events so that you can see a full schedule for a date range in a list format. This service is off to a good start but missing some of those basic features that are in other calendar apps. Pros: Import/Export, Custom Fields, Easy sharing.
