1. 1/5Used to be such a great app

   I’m a huge TM fan, have recommended this app to so many people, but recently it has failed me. No longer am I able to “finish” my round on my Apple Watch and have it save to the TM app. It just sits there and spins forever and then times out. Then when I go to start a new round next time I play, it asks if I want to “resume round” or “cancel round” and the only thing that I can do is cancel and then I lose all the cool stats from the previous round. I’m a numbers nerd. I crave the data that this app used to accurately give me and allow me to compile. But at this point I’ll be actively looking for a replacement app that can accurately and reliably do this for me. Not really sure what I’m paying $13 a month for if this feature isn’t going to work. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I’ve updated software on my iPhone and Apple Watch (both are the brand new 2023 versions of the phone and watch). Just so frustrating for a guy like myself that plays golf 2-3 times per week and wants to see that data

2. 5/5Getting back into the swing of things

   I been a weekend golfer for a lot of years play when I can ,been to few tournaments to watch an listen an see if there anything I can do with my equipment to improve my game all I have come to is practice practice practice if you want to be good practice at the driving range of course but sometimes I go to a open field walk off 150 yards put a stick to aim at see how close I can get to the pin don’t have the fancy putter to much I been using my dad’s putter for all of these years I bought the Taylor made sims 2 set new it has it moments but if I could dialed it in I would be as good as I can be but it all get back to practice I love this game dosnt matter if you are young or old it never gets old new equipment always a plus but I am old school taught but overall I love it this app is taking me to the next level to be better than I was before

3. 1/5Poor documentation, vanishing round, unknown support

   I can’t find documentation on how to do obvious things, like when golf tracking and you hit one into the water…which buttons to press to accurately record things and how to go back and edit a hole (forgot to record strokes at correct locations…which will mess up stats like club distances if not corrected). When editing a round it wasn’t clear how to exit out and get back to main part of app so I closed the app. Now that round no longer exists (deleted), don’t know how to get it back (and can’t just add round manually, assuming that’s a thing, because I don’t know the score because it was deleted). Also it is not at all clear how to contact support (maybe there is no support for this paid subscription?!).

4. 5/5Glad I Didn’t Pay

   Update: The developers were quick to respond and fix the issues that I had outlined below. My rounds that had vanished came back, which allowed me to view my stats. That definitely ups my rating. As for the review of app features, it’s easy to track your score and select which club from your bag that you used. The average yardage presentation for each club is also pretty helpful when trying to hone in your distances and determine what club you should use (or not use). The range finder function is also pretty helpful as you can tap to determine a distance to a point on the course, and not just receive the distance to the center of the green. One last thing that I like is that the TM app doesn’t drain my battery like some of the other apps that I’ve tried. The only minor downside that I had was needing to bring my phone with me to where I hit the ball to get an accurate distance. Fortunately, you can edit your shot location and move it to where you actually hit from. This is useful for situations like when you leave your phone in the cart, but want to measure your shot from the tee box you just hit from. Original: I got a free membership trail with the purchase of a set of P790 irons. Since then, 2 of 3 rounds played never saved. This is despite receiving the end of round email. Additionally, on my fourth round, the app wouldn’t even load the course. I decided to cancel the free-trial/subscription at the tee box of hole #2 (after playing a long par 5 on hole #1). Luckily my Garmin watch also records the round, so I at least had my data on that app. The only upside to the membership/app is the possibility of winning the tour trash. That’s definitely not worth paying monthly for.

5. 1/5Simply, nothing works

   I had so much hope from this app. I wanted to like it but nothing works. I’ve sent 4 videos to a swing coach and each given feedback saying the swing was cut off. After the first one going down the line i figured i would simple just back up. So i submitted the second further away and it was the same thing. I know for a fact you could see the full swing. Still trusting in Taylormade i sent a face on video and got the same response. Got the same feedback. So i backed up again and used the same angle. Same feedback. That’s just the swing coach. The drill videos i was interested don’t load; not on Wi-Fi, not on 5G. This app has been an overall disappointment.
