1/5App Bad, Taxi Service Great
app only works to login once and only once with your phone number, then to use it again, you have to delete it. It is caching or doing something crazy that it can’t get you logged back in again if you have used it before so only option is to delete it entirely and start over if you want to use their service more than once. Fingers crossed the scheduled service for the airport I booked 2 days from now actually shows up to pick us up cause when I log back in now, the booking is gone! App is very unreliable! However, the service and drivers themselves are top not ch! Definitely should work on this app as it would be a great travel aid for visitors to your city. Lots of young developers out there eager to do this kind of work, go get them.

I had a similar experience. I got all set up, got to the phone number and it will not take an American phone number. Makes it hard to use the app if it won’t take your phone number. I’m going to try the old app.

5/5Worked Perfect for Me
I’m an American and needed a ride from downtown Reykjavik to a car rental place on the other side of town. I was able to download and use this app just like I would Uber or Lyft back home. Driver arrived almost immediately and got me to my destination quick. He was very friendly and hospitable. Only downside is it’s pricy, but I think that’s the case with all taxis in the area. I wanted to share my positive experience since I saw this app had a poor rating so far. I wrote this in August 2024 for reference. Good luck travelers!

3/5Works Great After Signup
The most difficult part is the signup process. I have an American phone number and for some reason, the app will not let you complete signup until you are actually IN Iceland already. Tried several times while I was in another country but kept receiving an error. Once I was signed up, I have had no issues using it. The app does have a relative outdated interface and is a bit slow, but it does work.

No idea why the previous app wasn’t just updated but …ok. Bug: when locating a trip where the driver is on the way, a ‘cancel trip’ modal slides up and can’t be dismissed. This causes the map to be covered. Plz fix. Okthxbai!
