1. 5/5Amazing app as an alternative to using physical tarot decks

   This is my unbiased and honest review of this app for tarot readings. While using this app as an alternative to using the physical cards I own at home, I love dabbling in tarot after years of mastering tarot. The reason I chose to use this app to give myself tarot readings instead of the physical cards is because sometimes I feel it doesn’t take too much of my energy to do a proper tarot ritual. Because when I do a tarot reading I cleanse my space, myself, the cards, and lit a candle for the atmosphere to do tarot reading. With the app at the palm of my hands I don’t have to worry about using up my energy to do a proper tarot ritual like I usually do. One feedback I would give is if you could add feature to back up our tarot readings to iCloud or other cloud services so it will be easier to look back at the readings we give ourselves. I think that will be incredible because it will feel like we’re doing self reflection evaluating our interpretations from previous readings.

2. 5/5All You Could Ever Ask For

   This tarot app is the simplest, most straightforward and streamlined app of it’s kind available on the App Store. It has a full catalog of interpretations for each card in the RWS. I disagree with a lot of them, or to put it better my interpretations are often different then the ones provided, but they still serve as a good jumping points. You can choose from a number of different spreads or go completely freeform. You can also virtually shuffle and cut the deck, which adds to the overall experience. Each spread is stored in your journal, which you can type up your detailed interpretations of the spread in a simple text note. There’s also the option of labeling each spread with a specific question. There’s a large assortment of back drops to choose from, which is a neat feature. Overall, this app is the best app out there to read and journal tarot readings with. I own 17 different physical tarot and oracle decks, but lately I’ve been finding myself enjoying using this app and keeping it all contained in my phone. It’s just so easy, and can be done anywhere anytime without drawing attention. I use it while riding in the car, or while waiting for food. And there’s no ads! It’s a godsend. Such a great app for free with no ads. You can’t beat it. So yeah, 5/5 stars all around. Future feature idea: custom meanings for each card. It would be handy to have a catalog of personalized meanings for each card.

3. 5/5Why pay more for a worse app?

   For a person who already reads tarot and just wants an electronic version on their phone, this app is outstanding. Any negative feature (shuffling /drawing slightly tedious) is outweighed heavily by the fact that it’s free and there’s nothing to buy. I have looked at other apps; ones that require a subscription, ones that cost to download, etc. and there’s no reason to download a different app unless your goal is to learn and you wish for that experience to be interactive. There are descriptions for cards but they’re more like reminders than anything in-depth; many readers will disagree with them from time to time. I have been reading tarot since t rex roamed the Earth, so I don’t need an AI description feature. Great job and +5000 karma to whomever made this app.

4. 5/5Probably the best Tarot app out there

   This is overall a great app for Tarot. Many different spreads (& a custom option) make this an easy pick. They have many different versions of this same app albeit with different decks, so if the old classic standby of Rider-Waite doesn't suit you, there's many other options for you. The customer support is also good (they can take a few weeks to get back to you, so be patient). They at least acknowledge issues & ultimately fix them, which is more than I can say of many developers, including top tier ones. Kudos for transparency on the developer's part. It's had some bugs here & there (see below or negative reviews), but as of 2.18 it seems they've all been patched. 2.18 : Fixes all the below issues. Devs : Thanks for addressing the journal not opening. 2.17 : Fixes the full text issue, but now the journal is inaccessible & drops the app back to the desktop. 2.16 : The previous version worked perfectly, even fixing a long-standing issue with the journal becoming corrupted. This version is buggy & trying to tap "full text from the book" usually doesn't work if the card started as full screen. Tapping on it brings up the text but then the "full text" link becomes inaccessible. The app goes into a state where you're interacting with some interface layer *above* the text rather than the text itself. The only workaround I've found is to set the default view for readings to be text & card rather than full screen card which creates the issue above. The previous version did NOT have this bug (yes, I've confirmed on an older phone). I'd be happy to restore an otherwise deserved full 5 star rating, but not until this issue is fixed. It makes a normally great app very aggravating to use. Buyer beware!

5. 5/5Novice/ learning

   I am new to tarot and its uses and users but have been intrigued for years. I decided I wanted to be a participant and become a user and practitioner myself and found this app through searches. Based on the reviews and talking with a few. found before I bonded with an actual deck that this was a great learning tool to get a better understanding of the meaning of using tarot . Its only been a week and suffice to say I have a different energy then I did when I open my note book and begin my study. Its very educational and has been extremely useful. In my opinion its been a great stepping stone for my new journey.
