4/5New Version has Distance and Location Bugs
Old version worked very well. New Version somehow has issues detecting location and assessing distance. All people appear to be set an identical distance from me, no matter where they actually are, and I cannot tell until asking. Besides that, most functions are the same as the old app.

1/5Infested with Fakes/Scams
Only been on the app for a couple weeks. Ended up with 700 likes. I’m thinking, this is nice. But, then after a few days of chatting with some beautiful women, they bring up cryptos. None will send a video. So I paid for the option to only have “premium” matches, thinking these are real women. Nope, then a get inundated with matches of scammers using pics of other women. After requesting video proof, I’ve actually gotten AI generated videos of women saying my name in an introduction. The common scams are: invest in crypto, or I want to see you buy I need gas money, or come see me at (obscure address). If I try to take a screenshot of a profile pic, tantan will warn me that they are “protecting user privacy.” Are you kidding me?! I have to prove I’m real by rotating my face for an AI scanner, yet there are guys using pics of IG models and OF girls trying to exploit others. And this isn’t a few, or half, this is the majority of female profiles. I’ve never encountered an app this corrupted. If it’s a working girl, I don’t care. At least they are real. But it’s all fakes. I wonder how many people have been scammed using this app. I wonder if the developers are in on the scams. I wonder if a class-action lawsuit may be needed.

I had over 100 likes in less than 24 hours. I’m not a pro athlete or movie star. 95% of the profiles are unverified, have only one photo and no bio. Matching and chatting with people who do have more than one pic and a bio is fishy too. One told me she was getting off the app and wanted to chat elsewhere 🚩 One has a profile that says 8 miles away, the bio says she lives in Indiana and then in the chat she tells me she lives in Washington 🚩 Most of the profiles I come across say 8 miles away. It seems like the profiles are managed by bots or a few people managing multiple accounts. It isn’t humanly possible to get that amount of likes in a day and for them to mostly be exactly 8 miles away. I’ve read the owner or developer responses to some of the negative reviews…what a crock of nonsense. You guys are a bunch of crooks hiding behind ai responses saying how you take user experience and safety seriously. REFUND THE SCAM 🚨

1/5Majority of profiles are fake
I gave this app a second chance after a couple of I years I thought they would clean up. Instead they make it hard to report fake profiles and report users using pictures from social media accounts like Lucy Park which a profile used her picture from instagram. Use a second device to take a screenshot of a profile pic and used google image search and majority of profile will come out used on scams or picture taken from social media accounts of pretty females. Tantan has no integrity to let scammers run their businesses and make consumers think they have a chance with a profile but using tactics to make consumers spend money for nothing. They will generate a AI response to this as usual

1/5Not a good app for men
There amount of fake amounts and bots on this app is egregious. It’s also very glitchy. Saying I have 50 likes but when I click the likes to open I only have 3. And the gps settings associated with accounts make it easy to pinpoint locations so I wouldn’t recommend this for women. A lot of the profiles are obviously AI generated. Even saw a girl holding up 6 fingers. During my use less than 1% of profiles did the biometric verification. Also there weren’t any ugly girls whatsoever leading me to believe even more that most of the profiles were fake. I don’t consider this a serious dating app. It might just be 100% AI for the purpose of making money.

          "body": "Only been on the app for a couple weeks. Ended up with 700 likes. I’m thinking, this is nice. But, then after a few days of chatting with some beautiful women, they bring up cryptos. None will send a video. So I paid for the option to only have “premium” matches, thinking these are real women. Nope, then a get inundated with matches of scammers using pics of other women. After requesting video proof, I’ve actually gotten AI generated videos of women saying my name in an introduction. The common scams are: invest in crypto, or I want to see you buy I need gas money, or come see me at (obscure address). If I try to take a screenshot of a profile pic, tantan will warn me that they are “protecting user privacy.” Are you kidding me?! I have to prove I’m real by rotating my face for an AI scanner, yet there are guys using pics of IG models and OF girls trying to exploit others. And this isn’t a few, or half, this is the majority of female profiles. I’ve never encountered an app this corrupted. If it’s a working girl, I don’t care. At least they are real. But it’s all fakes. I wonder how many people have been scammed using this app. I wonder if the developers are in on the scams. I wonder if a class-action lawsuit may be needed.",

          "body": "I had over 100 likes in less than 24 hours. I’m not a pro athlete or movie star. 95% of the profiles are unverified, have only one photo and no bio. Matching and chatting with people who do have more than one pic and a bio is fishy too. One told me she was getting off the app and wanted to chat elsewhere 🚩 One has a profile that says 8 miles away, the bio says she lives in Indiana and then in the chat she tells me she lives in Washington 🚩 Most of the profiles I come across say 8 miles away. It seems like the profiles are managed by bots or a few people managing multiple accounts. It isn’t humanly possible to get that amount of likes in a day and for them to mostly be exactly 8 miles away. I’ve read the owner or developer responses to some of the negative reviews…what a crock of nonsense. You guys are a bunch of crooks hiding behind ai responses saying how you take user experience and safety seriously. REFUND THE SCAM 🚨",

          "body": "I gave this app a second chance after a couple of I years I thought they would clean up. Instead they make it hard to report fake profiles and report users using pictures from social media accounts like Lucy Park which a profile used her picture from instagram. Use a second device to take a screenshot of a profile pic and used google image search and majority of profile will come out used on scams or picture taken from social media accounts of pretty females. Tantan has no integrity to let scammers run their businesses and make consumers think they have a chance with a profile but using tactics to make consumers spend money for nothing. They will generate a AI response to this as usual",

          "body": "There amount of fake amounts and bots on this app is egregious. It’s also very glitchy. Saying I have 50 likes but when I click the likes to open I only have 3. And the gps settings associated with accounts make it easy to pinpoint locations so I wouldn’t recommend this for women. A lot of the profiles are obviously AI generated. Even saw a girl holding up 6 fingers. During my use less than 1% of profiles did the biometric verification. Also there weren’t any ugly girls whatsoever leading me to believe even more that most of the profiles were fake. I don’t consider this a serious dating app. It might just be 100% AI for the purpose of making money.",
