  1. 5/5Highly highly recommend

I've been an regular listener to the podcast for years. Talk Python Training is the absolute best courses hands down. I purchased the full bundle and have not regretted it. They cover everything from Python basics, advanced Python , htmx, Django, fastapi, pytest and git and a whole lot more. The videos and materials are much higher quality than Udemy. Check out some of the free courses to see for yourself.

  2. 5/5Finally, my favorite python courses on the go!

I would highly recommend these classes to anyone considering them. They are concise, informative, and clear. And now the courses are even easier to bring with and reference. Fantastic!

  3. 5/5Finally

Been waiting for this! App runs great for me. I am hoping we eventually get direct purchase and account management from the app at some point in the future.

  4. 3/5Great for Portability, but needs Split Screen

Really enjoy being able to get these courses on the go, and especially the variable speed playback. Would *really* love to see support for split screen on iPad as I tend to execute the tutorials in a jupyter notebook as I watch. I currently have to do a lot of back and forth with slide over to make it work....

  5. 5/5Best Python courses even easier to access

Talk Python’s training classes are simply the best from beginner to advanced developers. This app is a great way to watch videos. I use it to rewatch and cement my understanding.

This is our biggest update in a long time. We've modernized the entire app from top to bottom and fixed a long list of bugs along the way. - iPad support: the app now rotates into landscape on iPads - great for keyboard folios - Much better offline behavior: clear messages when your connection drops, and your downloaded lectures are always there - Downloads are far more reliable on flaky networks, with automatic retries that actually retry - Fixed: one problem course could stop your entire library from loading - now it's skipped and everything else loads - Fixed: course pages could freeze in landscape - Fixed: a crash when a search result pointed to a course not yet in your library - Fixed: rare crashes when returning to the app and a hang on the startup screen - Video playback resumes where you left off more reliably - Smarter connection checking that's lighter on your battery and network - Rebuilt on the latest tooling for current iOS versions As always, if you hit any issues, we'd love to hear from you.

  • 2.1.50 · 4 Aug 2026

This update is entirely bug fixes, concentrated on offline downloads and sign-in. DOWNLOADS - Tapping "Finish course download" no longer crashes when a course has gained a lecture since you downloaded it. If you were holding a partial download of Agentic AI Programming for Python or Django: Getting Started, this was hitting you every time - not intermittently. - Downloads now stay in step with courses that change after you download them. A lecture added to a course is now downloadable instead of being silently missing from a course that claimed to be complete, and a lecture removed from a course no longer leaves you stuck at "N-1 of N" forever. Video left behind by a removed lecture is deleted and its space reclaimed. COURSES - Your enrolled course list no longer fails to load when course size information is briefly unavailable from the server. SIGN-IN - If your sign-in expires or is revoked, the app now signs you out and tells you why, instead of failing every refresh with a generic "please try again" that retrying could never fix. Previously the only way out was to guess to sign out manually from Account Details.
