5/5Confusing UI - fixed
This has been fixed, looks good now. Original Review: To the developer - This app went from a mildly confusing UI to a totally unintuitive UI. Dropping the internal menus that used to be on a separate page into one giant list when trying to build a combo is very confusing. Not to mention there is no obvious way to see when an option sub menu ends and the rest of the parent menu begins. It is also unintuitive that you can have options selected for multiple drinks, but the real selection is the drink you have the sub menu open on when you add to cart? It isn’t super obvious to me that having the sub menu open is selecting that drink when there is no indication by the name of the soda indicating it is selected. There is a case where all drink sub menus are closed, and there is no obvious way to see what will be added when you add it to the cart.

3/5Almost worth it
First off, I like the app because it rewards my loyalty with a free combo meal. There's nothing better than free food. Who doesn't love potato oles dunked in hot spicy nacho cheese and a crunchy chicken burrito? It's a good trade off if you eat here often enough. My qualms with the app is the barcode scanner occasionally goes on the fritz. I've updated the app more than once and each time the scanner seems to quit working. For reference, I'm on iOS 11 and an iPhone 6. I wish the app had a feature that recognized prices and gave you double punches for your purchases totaling over $20. If there is a minimum requirement of $5 to receive a punch, the company itself should reward its customers with multiple punches when your feeding the whole family. Lastly, I wish the coupons and deals didn't correspond to the launch of new products, but rather my purchasing habits. Why offer me a $1 off a steak burrito when all I ever purchase is kids meals and a crunchy chicken combo. The same goes with deserts. Why offer me a free sugar covered potato ole when all I purchase are Churros; they're fab by the way! So my closing suggestion to you is, offer me a free churro with the purchase of a combo or kids meal. I'm 2x more likely to eat at your establishment in doing so.

5/5Best Service Ever
I worked at a Taco John’s in high school and during college so I love the brand and the food. I’ve been to dozens of Taco John’s locations throughout my life and my experience today was probably the best I’ve ever had. The place is clean and very inviting. The food quality and presentation was absolutely perfect. The staff is out of this world friendly. The gal at the front counter taking orders is incredibly friendly. She never stops working and finding something to do, from helping customers, to making sure the restaurant is clean. I had time to kill before a meeting so I sat in the lobby to eat. The interaction between the manager and the employees is amazing and I have to believe this place is very successful. The manager clearly has excellent leadership abilities. Congratulations on a great customer experience and thank you for a surprisingly wonderful lunch experience.

1/5Simply does not work
Downloaded the app and attempted to place a delivery order. App said my order was scheduled for delivery at 12:15pm, 45 minutes from when I placed the order. No problem. At 12:30pm, order status still just said “scheduled”. Was able to cancel my order and was not charged, but this is a total fail. If you do not have delivery drivers available in my area or there is some other issue delivering the order on time, then the app should tell me such so I can move on with my life, not sit here in limbo wondering where my delicious tacos are! ***UPDATE*** This app just doesn’t even work. Besides the aforementioned fail above, I attempted to place an order for pickup, drove to the store and they never received my order. Looked at the app and it says order placed. Canceled that order and tried again while standing in the store, app says order placed and confirmed, but the order never arrives on their display and my card is never charged. Double checked payment information (app should alert user if there are payment issues!) to verify it was correct. Basically, this app is useless.

5/5The app does not work
More times out of all attempts the app fails to work. It does not scan at location prior to order nor will it scan receipt. Employees do not know what to do. They say scan before order doesn’t work, they scan after ordering it doesn’t work. I am in North Dakota and when scanning it shows South Dakota or Canada stores. Very frustrating. I have deleted and then reinstalled still doesn’t work. Changed my location setting to precise still does not work. It says take a photo of receipt and the app does not respond even though I allow camera access.
