4/5AMAZING APP FOR POTS…but
I’ve tried so many apps to try to become more physically active and able to help me navigate through this awful POTS & dysautonomia journey - 24/7 monitoring and alerting, so I can better prevent syncope episodes. THIS APP IS PERFECT in that regard!! I’m a healthcare professional with this condition and desperately wish any and all data could be saved as a report or even logged in any way. This would be amazing for my patients but I wouldn’t be able to see any recordings :( I also don’t understand why there is not a phone app and can only be downloaded on the Apple Watch (tiny screen). Secondly, the app is lacking in education 100%. Understanding POTS given the data from this app would be an immense help for the POTS community. Scientific explanations for the given data would be an impeccable addition to this app. All in all, big thanks to the app team as this is a huge help for us POTS sufferers. I do hope you take these suggestions into consideration. Y’all rock 💙

5/5FIVE stars and thank you
I tried several apps to get heart rate alerts for my Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) but either the alerts came too late for me to do anything effective or they drained the battery of my Watch completely within an hour! I think it’s so great that the developer made this for his niece. I’m so sorry she has POTS but it sounds like you’re a good uncle and must love your niece a lot. I’m married to a developer, so I know how much hard work goes into app creation!! I have kept my guy watered and fed through many hours of coding. I also echo the other reviewers who appreciate the developer making it free so it’s accessible to all. I really appreciate that the developer added the ability to email or text the data. Not to be greedy :) but there are two features I would love to have. First is if the data could be exported as a .csv file or similar. I use Numbers to track symptoms for POTS and M.E. and having that in a form where I could export and manipulate the data more easily would be amazing. I would also love it if the app could take HRV measurements because I have to stop a session to get the Mindfulness app to manually take one. Maybe these two things are possible and I just haven’t figured them out! But if these are not possible, I still give it five stars because it has helped me avoid M.E. crashes and POTS flares so much better than any other app. Thank you!!

5/5This app has saved my life!!!
Previous review: So far I love it. I love that it has a continuous alarm and how loud it is. I love the simplicity and not over crowded with crap but I wish the screen text was smaller just a bit. When my average hits triple digits it cuts the text out. I also wish you could choose what alarms you want. I love the high and low and how you can set two alarms for each but I have no use for the average high and low alarms. I also wish it gave a feature where it would text a loved one when in the danger zone. Again love it, just would like to see a few additions. Update: since the previous review my condition has gotten worse and this app has literally saved my life multiple times. I still wish the text would be smaller so when my average hits triple digits it could be seen and not cut off, but this app has been a life saver and I’m beyond greatful to the creator!!! I use all the alarms now and anyone around me knows what is going on with me just by the heart alarm sound without a second thought. Thanks again!!

5/5Amazing management tool!
This app has been incredibly helpful! I have had POTS for 12 years and this is the most useful app I have ever used for it! I am definitely recommending this app to my care team for their other patients. For POTS I am able to use it to warn me of high and low heart rates (I need both, so I love it!) so I can either immediately adjust what I am doing to prevent fainting or get into a safe position so I don’t get hurt when I lose consciousness. It is also extremely helpful in managing Post-Exertional Malaise and I would highly recommend it to those who have ME and CFS. The alerts allow me to adjust in real-time so I can adjust and manage before it’s too late to solve the problem like apps that only notify you after 10 min of consistent elevation or lowering which is good for tracking but not prevention. Being able to have a vibrating alarm instead of an audible one is also really nice to have in public or somewhere that an alarm would draw unwanted attention (such as class or during live performances). I monitor all day (and night) and it doesn’t use much battery. When it is monitoring it also increases the accuracy of the HR data overall from the standard Apple Watch. The app is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who has HR issues even without dysautonomia! There are a few things that could make it even better… a few “wishlist” items: I really appreciate the detailed data the app gathers, but I would really love to be able to store and track it. If I don’t catch the summary at the end of monitoring, the details all get lost in the more general health app. It looks like this may be addressed soon, though. Since I know many people who use this for POTS also track data, it would be really nice to also have a “track mode” where the alarms are either silenced for longer than they are currently or can be silenced until turned back on. Being able to mark the event triggers in a phone app to help track and identify them would be amazing too!

5/5Fantastic app for pots people!
This app has given me more freedom to try new things without having to constantly monitor my numbers since I know it will alert me if I go out of range. A few things I would like to see: Multiple sounds/ vibration patterns. I would love to be able to customize the sounds and vibrations to be more intuitive to me and potentially have a sound alert for the highest zone. I would love to see the options to pick what combination for each threshold. I’m assuming this will probably be a massive pain to program but it really would dramatically improve user experience. Multiple modes so I can preset zone for example during sleep or for exercise (Ex. During exercise I have a smaller acceptable delta range but a higher absolute heart rate threshold) having the ability to swap between multiple modes would be super helpful Pause button: self explanatory. Would be useful vs having to end a session if i want to take of the watch off for any reason and don't want the battery running down Single alert vs continuous : in addition to the sound and vibration variations I would love to see the options to pick a single tone or vibration pattern. When my heart rate is dropping I like to know but that’s not something I need to constantly be alerted for. Thank you so much for all you have done for us so far. I’ve recommended your app to everyone I know in the Potsie community and I will continue to do so. I hope my suggestions and feedback are helpful. If there is any way we can support you so you can keep doing this I would love to know
