  1. 3/5Great idea but has some issues

This app is only meeting half of his potential, which is allowing guys to invite Girls to the table. But there is a whole other problem it aims to solve, allowing guys to split the cost of a table, but currently it’s not doing successfully for this reason: I don’t think most of the users realize they can set a price for guys to join and allow women to join for free. Because all I see is people just inviting woman for free, and on rare occasion that you see opening for men it’s also for free. I think if more people realized that you can set a price for men and allow women to join for free, then more ppl would use this feature and this app could be used for guys to essentially split the cost of a table. This is the main reason I downloaded this app because I don’t have a lot of friends in my area who are willing yo split a table.

  2. 1/5App Takes Advantage of Men $$

This is app is the complete opposite of what they advertise. I travel every few months and enjoy going out to new restaurants, events, etc and downloaded this app thinking I meet people, have a good time at the the fraction on the cost since it’s advertised towards “groups” splitting the bill BUT it’s the complete opposite, all the events I was interested in (this is across several cities in the US) charges the males and not females. I received a notification for a 12 course sushi meal event in Miami, FL and the male’s cover is $500 while the female is free…smh. I do pretty well in life, great career, single, no kids, to where I’m fortunate enough to travel every so often and can most definitely afford more than $500 for this event but it seems this app is geared towards milking men of their cash and women have to pay little to nothing. I tend to look to this app more when I travel as it’s a great way to see what events are going on in cities I am not familiar with and to meet people but over the past year or so Eventbrite seems more realistic. Imagine using this app for VIP, only to see there are 6 girls signed up for free (most are paid associates of the venue), but 3 males have to foot the bill of $600-$1500 a piece! After the specials I saw for NYE, I decided to not travel stay in my city and dropped a bag locally. This app isn’t geared towards “group”, it’s geared towards targeting and taking advantage of men who easily are sold on hype (“8-9 girls in the section!!? I’m with it!” …only to find out 4 guys gotta pay $900 a piece). I don’t mind dropping a bag for a good time when traveling, but the more I see into the details of these events on this app, I see how much the male has to pay vs the female. You as the man will foot the bill of the VIP or whatever event and the women you will meet will most likely be paid associates of the venue who are their to stroke your ego for a 4-5 hours and leave without you - might as well go to Eventbrite, pay the ticket, then pay for your own VIP or party with gen pop. I’m uninstalling this app.

  3. 3/5Latest Version is Bug Infested

The app does not have any troubleshooting, support guide, or anything to address ongoing issues that are experienced. Lately, they have a new limitation that does not enable you to create multiple events in a given night, “Time is not in the future” which has become extremely annoying. This can cause issues when needing to host a pop-up event or create an event. Additionally, there is this “pending friends” notice when accepting some invites. No clue why that now exists other than their profile is being validated? Better functionality is needed.

  4. 1/5Do NOT attend if you’re a woman. Weird app with low engagement

This app became weird when it only required restrictions for attendees and not organizers. It seems that there are harsh penalties for attendees who might miss one event but organizers can completely mislead and lie to people on this app without punishment. I find the hypocrisy funny considering most of the events posted on this app are incentivized and not legitimate. They only post on here to draw in women because women are not organically attending these sausage fest parties. It’s quite sad. The desperation to cling onto bringing women in when most of the DJs prefer male only crowds is cringeworthy at best. We can see it with acts like John summit who shame women for wanting to be backstage while desperately begging men to hold his backside while djing. It is very obvious that the main “acts” that headline these events only want men in attendance. And unless they’re “paying for it” that is exactly what they will get. So much for being inclusive.

  5. 5/5A must have app

This is a great networking & nightlife app that works perfectly for Miami, other major cities, & even internationally. I’ve had great experience with it I’ve attended several events, made a lot of solid connections & even hosted a few events of my own through the platform. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to meet new people, expand their network, or get plugged into the city’s social scene
