1. 5/5Sellers are expendable! StubHub needs to check themselves!

   As a regular seller I had an issue where a book of season tickets I purchased went inactive because of a digital switch that I did online. I moved the season tickets into my name out of a relatives name online with sports organization they were associated with. I was unaware of the original hard copy tickets becoming inactive as a result of the switch but I was not notified of the problem until the Monday after the event had occurred. If StubHub would have called my cell phone (which they have on file) then I could have resolved the matter in minutes for the buyer and we all stay happy. Be aware that Emma in the customer service department made it clear to me that StubHub does not attempt to contact the seller when unforeseen issues arise. It is better screw the seller than to reach out to the seller so they can rectify the situation immediately. Bad policy in my opinion. At least give a seller a chance to correct an honest mistake. I could have forwarded the digital copy to the buyer in minutes for 2 of the 4 tickets I sold that were inactive. The other 2 tickets were fine. However since 2 of the tickets had issues, I had to payback the entire transaction! Ouch! Give your seller’s a chance to correct an honest error. Without sellers there is no StubHub. There is no doubt that StubHub as a company has a bright future but they need address this in my opinion. My level of trust and confidence in the online broker has been diminished as a result of their inadequate policy.

2. 4/5Wrong ticket, all good now

   I had purchased floor tickets for Arctic Monkeys in StubHub for the first time, and they said that the tickets wouldn’t be ready until the day before. But I hadn’t checked them until the day of. It was hard trying to find out if we had to download the tickets but it turned out we had gotten them in email through ticket master. My friend and I didn’t know that StubHub was associated with other companies until then. Once We confirmed the tickets we got them and went to the concert to find out that we did not get seated on the floor we got seated in the actual seats. We went to call one of the seating people, they redirected us to one of the security teams whom redirected us to the customer service at the venue and they told us to call StubHub, I spoke to one of the people and they helped me talk to someone who would know what to do. So we talked to a guy named Jordan I believe and he was very patient, understanding, attentive, and assisting. He made sure I got the tickets I purchased for and not the wrong ones that were sent to me. He stayed on the line as they venue people redirected me to another entrance for floor and made sure that the email he had sent to me for the floor tickets actually got scanned. The service team was great and I had a blast and so did my friend. It was her first concert to her favorite band and I just wanted to make this day memorable and stubhub really helped me. But I really think that people should make sure they have the right tickets ahead of time to not get scammed.

3. 4/5stubhub is good but PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CHOOSING STUBHUB

   this is my first time writing a review, but i will say stubhub is definitely one of those sites that you do have to be careful about when buying. recently, i traveled to go see the eras tour out in paris france. before even traveling to paris i bought my ticket back in march of 2024 and it said estimated arrival date was april 30th, however, two weeks before April 30th, the date was pushed back to may 3rd, and then yet again to may 8th. i contacted stubhub about this (also by the way, shoutout to their customer support because they were actually incredible), and when i contacted them, they said that it’s likely due to some events having ticket release dates set by the event organizers or venues, mind you out in france, only the promoter, or ticket platforms that have been authorized by the promoter, are allowed to sell or resell event tickets, when i finally got my ticket it didn’t exactly show my name on the ticket, which i was freaking out a little bit because a lot of people were saying that they may check ids out at the arena, which thankfully they didn’t and i was able to go in to see taylor swift just fine, but by all means please be careful when ordering tickets for anything on stubhub, because even though i was lucky to be able to go see this event, this may not be the case for others due to ticket scalpers that just want to scam people for money, which i have heard has happened with people, especially during the eras tour. so in conclusion, yes this site is really 100% a decent website and app to use, but please be very careful with what your buying. :)

4. 3/5Giving this a one so they provide some service

   I don’t actually want to give a 1. More realistic as a 3 as mobile tickets are much better than last year. However, it seems most companies only care to read the 1s so here’s to that so these might have a chance of being resolved. Issues: 1) I have direct deposit set up for payments on the website. I only have had PayPal as an option all season long on the app. Why?!?! 2) For the past couple weeks I got errors when trying to post. At the end it would just say “Something went wrong. Please try again.” No description as to why. Contacted support and their only remedy was to tell me to upload through the computer. Found out the real reason was because my CC on file expired last month. Please give descriptive error messages so people can know WHY something went wrong. 3) This was awhile ago but still pisses me off. Some jerk at StubHub kept emailing me saying my tickets were not valid and they would cancel my listing and charge me. I offered even to transfer and the douche kept saying if I don’t come through quickly I would be charged. This was with OVER A MONTH to go before the actual event. Kept saying StubHub would never accept screenshots despite my e-mails saying I’ve posted all mobile tickets this season that way with no problem. Finally I provided screenshots from the app which explicitly state to do this. No response. No apology. Just left me hanging to wonder whether or not it was actually resolved or I’d get a completely BS charge. Please inform your own staff on how the app works!! And apologize when a mistake is made!

5. 1/5NEVER AGAIN!!!

   StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They “guarantee” your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their agreement. They lied to me multiple times to try to get out of their “guarantee.” I bought Taylor Swift tickets and they were not delivered. When I called customer service multiple times, they put me off until the date of the concert saying they were finding replacement tickets. The tickets they offered me were all significantly worse than the ones I purchased and they claimed they couldn’t offer me similar or better tickets because they wouldn’t be available right away. They talked me into accepting worse tickets with a tiny StubHub voucher as a last resort (because I already traveled to another city for the concert) and said the tickets would arrive immediately. They said I should accept the tickets and then contest the transaction on the back end. They claimed they put in a claim for a partial refund based on my terrible experience. When I called back for a status the next week, they told me my refund was being processed and asked me to provide a debit card for the money to go to. I called back a few days later (because I had received nothing) and was told they would not provide a partial refund and would not allow me to speak with anyone who could consider my request. There was no option provided to have my complaint elevated and no explanation for why their reps lied to me on multiple occasions.

   Bought tickets to Dodger game on my computer - no problem. But when I went to open the tickets on my phone I found out the Stubhub app is not compatible with my Samsung phone. Had to transfer tickets to my friend's phone. Really stupid and a waste of time. Haven't had problems with any other ticket platforms; will be using them instead of Stubhub.
