  1. 5/5Glitchy as hell (Updated)

Downloaded it because it does have a cool premise where you can view how your lifts are against the average population and you’re friends. But that’s the only good thing about it. When I try to use the AI features they talk about it, it says I have no connection when I used the internet 2 seconds before and a few seconds after. The actual workout logger doesn’t have a feature to update your logs while you are working out which would be manageable if you were able to the view the workout before hand but you can’t do that either. So you can view the logs and edit them after you’re done but if you do it that way it changes your values on all the numbers you previously inputted. So if I put in 135lbs for something it usually changes it to 72.5 or something close to that. I would let that go but I’ve seen reviews from 5+ months ago complaining about the same thing. I would quit using it but I forgot to cancel the membership so hopefully it can get better within a month Edit: They truly have turned the app around since I wrote my review. It has gotten a lot more polished and they fixed all the issues that I wrote about. Actually not a bad app to use for workouts and progress now.

  2. 3/5Lots of useful features, but the logic for adapting the app is confusing

This is a good and convenient app for those who work out at the gym and want to stick to their workouts. However, I don't really like the logic of this app. For example, I usually follow my usual workouts, so I already have a plan in my head. But I downloaded this app to add some variety to my workouts and try new exercises, so I wanted the app to create a workout for me. The problem is, I do different workouts throughout the week for a specific area (legs, arms, back), and I wanted the app to create that workout for me, but each time it gives me a "quick workout" or a "full-body workout" for different areas and muscle groups. For some reason, workouts I've done in my calendar are constantly disappearing. For example, on Wednesday, I did a back workout, and the entire workout was recorded, and I finished and saved it, but for some reason, that workout then disappeared. Basically, all the workouts I recorded and saved so I could easily use a template later weren't saved, and I have to recreate the entire workout every time (but I like that my weights are still saved). I tried to figure it all out, but it's a bit difficult to do in this app because when you logically think "this button" should be responsible for "that," and this "that" is actually completely different, you get confused about what's where, which makes it hard to "learn" what's where in the app.

  3. 5/5Great… but

Listen, this app is great. It’s really helpful as a reminder of what workouts and the weights to them I hit last, and the weekly streak and little panda themed cards at the end of every workout are very motivational. It’s cool to see what parts I hit well, and what I need to improve upon. Also, with such a wide list of workouts in the selection it’s easy to mark off what I did, and if the workout isn’t there, it has a free custom workout feature, which many other apps don’t include. The only problem I have with with the app is marking failures and warmups. It’s such a small feature to not have for free and it’s something that I feel should be free. I understand there need to be a few features blocked to premium, but the marking is so small, yet it would really round out the other free features included with the app.

  4. 2/5Missing crucial workout features

The app prompted me to use a free trial right away requiring payment which I couldn’t exit out of, or if possible not directly on how to do it. Then I make a 6 day split which doesn’t even let me add notes to specific workouts, change its targeted muscle group, etc. You also are very limited on options of workouts as you can’t add your own. There are no dumbbell sumo squats, the only form of cable kickback isn’t even a glute workout it’s a cable pullback workout, so the targeted muscle group shows shoulders which would incorrectly add growth to shoulders NOT glutes. There are NO decline sit up options just frustrating as the app needs small changes to be great, but as a new paid user it’s like what am I paying for when the app can’t even properly implement my actually split. You’re even limited on character names for a daily split (30 specifically) so I can’t even add a note there to remind myself to sub certain workouts for others. I get needing payment for the app productivity and features, but it is such a limited app mainly only showing an ai increase in muscle overtime as u use the app as a diary to put in ur split, reps, weight lifted etc. Which isn’t really valuable to someone who can’t target their specific workouts.

  5. 3/5Has a lot of room for improvement

I paid the subscription because I thought I’d get the best quality stuff, because of how its advertised on social media. This is not the case. Its not horrible, its still functional, but theres just a lot of counter intuitive things happening here. Theres a lot of missing exercises, cardio isnt counted as something they measure in terms of progression, it doesn’t tell you the time or duration of your prior workouts, etc. It’s just weird it seems poorly put together, apps like these have to be made by people with a lot of expertise and experience in the field. Have they used their own app? There isn’t an option for a plank exercise for goodness’ sake. And yes you can make your own exercises but thats just annoying because its not gonna track the progress for your custom exercises. And I happen to train my neck, and theres nothing for that. Like please don’t make an app if you don’t have the passion in the field the app is for. I shouldnt have paid the membership 😪 Edit: They got back to me n said theyd change some stuff soon, let’s see..
