Ratings & reviews

4.0 4 ratings · App Store

  1. 3/5No true orthographic, cross sections don't work well

This is FAR better than eDrawings, but doesn't have true 3d orthographic, the orbit camera view frequently freezes, and there's no wireframe solid view

    Lexor Pontificus · 7 Aug 2026

  2. 1/5Can’t see all step files in a folder

The app requires authorization (?) to open step files. It is unclear how to provide authorization to all step files in a folder recursively. In addition trying to open a folder contained within an enclosing folder only shows some of the folders. These problems make the app useless.

  • 1.0.0
  • 1.0.1

    - Adds customizable background colors, with your choice saved and restored automatically every time you return. - Refines the menu bar and shortcuts: more fluid, smarter, and collapsible — giving the 3D view the space it deserves. - Introduces crisp cross-section planes (XY, XZ, YZ): slice through geometry cleanly and expose the true anatomy within.

  • 1.0.10

    - Added per-file deletion in the recent files list, plus confirmed clear-all when the list gets longer, making import history easier to manage - Improved STEP color loading, including XCAF, instance, face-level, and subshape colors, reducing gray or mismatched colors in colored models - Improved view reset: tap the quick action icon to return directly to the default view without an extra confirmation prompt

  • 1.0.11

    - Added exploded-parts faceted STEP export — save each exploded part as a separate STEP file, with batch export to a single folder - Added an explosion radius slider (1×–20×) to the exploded-parts panel - Replaced the corner view helper with a new view cube — tap faces for front, top, side, and other standard views; use the surrounding buttons to rotate and roll the model

  • 1.0.12

    - View orientation has been optimized for the Z-up convention commonly used in industrial and mechanical CAD. - The bottom-right ViewCube has been further improved, keeping standard views, rotate, roll, and reset actions in sync with the model view.

  • 1.0.13 · 29 Jul 2026

    - Improved model zoom control for smoother mouse wheel and trackpad zooming, making view adjustments more precise. - Improved the recent files list with quick filename filtering and a clearer Clear All action. - Improved STEP file compatibility, fixing some models that failed to load or showed abnormal faces and holes.

  • 1.0.2

    - Improved app launch time. - Improved STEP file loading speed and stability.

  • 1.0.3

    - Supports loading IGES/IGS models. - Supports parsing and loading STEP models as assemblies (the model must contain assembly information). - Supports exploding model components, spreading them apart for detailed inspection.

  • 1.0.4

    - The user interface has been optimized to match the aesthetic of iOS and macOS 26. - Updated Privacy Policy and Support documents for better readability via web-based viewing. - Faster startup: Replaced blocking animations to enable instant, hands-free app launching.

  • 1.0.5

    - Added support for opening recently accessed STEP files - Fixed bugs related to the position and color of parts when loading some assembly models - Improved model loading speed and stability - Optimized the app logo style

  • 1.0.6

    - Added localization support: German, French, Simplified Chinese, Japanese - Some UI optimizations

  • 1.0.7

    - Fixed a bug that could cause issues when importing certain 3D models directly - Added support for PMI annotations, dimension details, and model information panels in AP242 models for easier inspection - Added measurement tools with point-to-point, diameter/radius, and angle measurement - Better stability when opening complex or larger files, including recovery for some files that previously failed to load - Improved iPhone and iPad interactions to make focusing and measuring feel more natural

  • 1.0.8

    - Optimize PMI annotations in the view - Optimize prompt messages during measurement operations, and automatically capture measurement targets - Add new distance measurement types: Point-to-Face, Line-to-Face, and Face-to-Face

  • 1.0.9

    - New hole feature auto-detection and measurement — scan all circular holes in the model with one tap, with quick diameter/radius annotation - New bounding box measurement — automatically calculate length, width, height, and volume of parts or assemblies - New assembly part recognition scan — measure part bounding box dimensions with one tap - Exploded view now supports exporting selected parts to separate files; the part list panel allows quick switching and locating of part views - Improved measurement focus camera — one tap to auto-adapt to the optimal viewing angle - Exploded view measurement rules now restrict measurements to within the same part, preventing cross-part annotation misalignment - New PMI/GD&T information browser panel (located in the sidebar's Model tab), supporting filtering by type, source, and confidence level to explore product manufacturing information
