  1. 5/5Always Loved It & Still Do

I’ve loved the concept of Stealth since their first plank core boards came out. Did switch to the orange one from yellow for more padding and room but it makes planking and exercise fun and is now part of my daily routine, whether I do one set of endurance or a few sets of countdown. My sets combine both the plank core board and the squat trainer, and I’m excited for the bike to come out to add. I appreciate the gamification of exercise as well as the little wins the app provides with challenges and fitness tracking. They also have a great library of games for the price of a pizza delivery, which absolutely pays for itself. They’ve been a little slower on game development as of late but personally I’d rather have quality games than them churning out a bunch that I don’t care to play. I usually mix up between my favorite games and occasionally try a new one. Am looking forward to more Squat trainer games, but that’s newer so understandably doesn’t have as many yet (currently 3). Also love the game mix that allows switching of games during a longer set, as each game targets muscles a little differently. Overall, I love the Stealth products but I will say it is about finding something that will help you exercise consistently.

  2. 3/5Great games, not-so-great other features

I want to start off by saying that I use this app regularly for the bike and core features. I really enjoy the games and I think the concept behind this app is fantastic. However, it really bugs me that there aren’t any options for people who are at a healthy weight and are just trying to exercise and maintain that weight instead of losing more. I understand that a lot of people’s fitness journey involves healthier eating habits, but that’s not the case for everyone and there are essentially no customization options in terms of medical needs. An example of this issue is that you can’t enter your “hacker score” without telling the app how long you regularly go without eating, and the “good” answer is 16+ hours. Not only is that much longer than is healthy for a lot of people (ESPECIALLY people who work out a lot) it’s also not great to measure your diet solely by how long you can go without eating anything. That’s not a good mindset and often pushes people towards binging/purging, which is horrible for fitness and health in general. I don’t think this app needs to stop featuring weight loss options; many people want to lose weight and that’s awesome. If you want to have food/weight tracking options, that’s great! But options should be optional, not mandatory— especially when this app links to expensive fitness equipment that the user has presumably already bought, meaning they can’t just use a different app.

  3. 5/5Planking has never been this fun!

Planking is not the funnest thing I have ever done, maybe I would go as far as to say it is one of the worst. But it’s a really good workout.... kind of like how you hated eating veggies as a kid even though your parents said they were good for you, so you reluctantly choked them down.... Except with the stealth board it makes that unbearable task something fun! Sure the people in my house laughed at me the first time I used it... but then I was all like well I bet you can’t beat my score... and it was on. Also have you ever done a plank? You are supposed to hold it for a time... and 30 seconds feels like an eternity. The stealth board has games that last however long you set them for but the 3 minutes is the preset time. Three minutes!!! It sounds crazy, I know, but paired with a game it’s like doing very intense VR.... You can definitely feel the effects of the board from the first time you use it... I can’t wait to see what it will do in the long term, but until then I’ll be challenging my family and trying to beat my high score!

  4. 5/5BEST EXERCISE TO LOSE WEIGHT EVER!!!!!

I tried out the stealth workout machine and it is the best way to lose weight. I just started and I am loving it. I am on a weight lose journey and this really helps if you need to lose weight fast. At first it might be hard to get on the thing but the videos on the website are very helpful and I was able to use the machine in no time. I’m definitely going to use stealth for a long time. Combine stealth along with other helpful weight lose products or stuff that gives you a lot of energy and you get a whole gym to yourself since most of what you do at a gym you can do on the stealth platform (besides standing on it). It’s a wonder why I don’t see a lot of bodybuilders sponsoring this product. It is the best thing to come in the physical fitness industry. Thank you for reading this review.

  5. 2/5Update, less crashing, game cheats now!

Old review here: Sometimes I get 12 minutes but it doesn’t get far beyond that. It worked fine for the first few days but now is not reliable. The bike is pretty good and both included games are fun before they crash, but they both crash in both modes. Two months later: There have been some improvements and the game gets up to 2 stars thanks to that stability. I can now get a full 30 minute ride without having to restart the game. We now have a much more stable game. The bike itself remains fine, the gamification is still the problem. Unfortunately, now the game cheats. Go through 4 hoops at 35 mph, with no movement on the handlebars, at least one will provide a collision demerit in about 80% of the hoop sets. But even more fun, now one coin in 15-20 register as a collision instead of the thing you’re supposed to be collecting! And there’s no way to avoid that — it can be the 3rd or 4th coin/diamond as often as the 1st. A game that cheats is not a good game. Also, in the cycle chase, you better like Desert Bus as your preferred gaming experience, because you only get a nice twisty road for the first 2 minutes of a round. Then it’s just straight on til Vegas for however long you’re willing to pedal. The resistance change prompts are still good and better than I’d do on my own, but as far as I can tell, that’s on the honor system. It would also be excellent if the developers had a feedback and bug reporting system that isn’t complaining in the reviews.
