   I had an account with the old app. I can’t migrate any points. When I go in and put in my email, name, and create a password it kicks me out when I hit submit. I decided to not migrate. I couldn’t remember my password so I hit reset password. It kicked me out and no email to reset. So I decided to just set up a new account. Went through and filled in everything, hit submit, it kicked me out of the app. I wanted to order and pay from home so all I would have to do is pick it up. FYI... if you have gone to having to buy a gift card to pay online like Sonic does, forget about me using the app. It needs to be able to be like McDonald’s and Wendy’s app or allow Apple Pay like Little Caesars. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Get with the 21st century.

2. 3/5Checkout Screen Hardly Loads

   I would honestly give the app 4 stars, however this is the 5th time in the last couple of months where I tried using the app to put in a carryout order and the app won’t load the checkout screen. This is SO frustrating, because I pay using gift cards and you can’t even use them inside the restaurants on the kiosk. Those only accept credit/debit and sometimes cash, which is dumb. How you guys don’t accept your own gift cards as a payment unless we go through the drive-thru and half the time the employees struggle with entering in the gift card number or just scanning them? I love the food and the shakes. Lately though, the workers don’t want to fill the milkshakes to the top of the lid. Last couple of times I paid for a milkshake, they didn’t even fill the cup with the shake. Almost a fourth of what I’m used to receiving was gone and they argued with me when I said to fill it to the top. Some locations just have terrible service. ANOTHER HUGE ISSUE!!! You can’t even order the 7 by 7 on the app nor on the kiosk. I can only order that when I go through the checkout. This is frustrating. Please fix this issue by adding 7 by 7 to the menu, add gift cards as payment options for all kiosks including e-gift cards, and keep the app from crashing every time I try to pay for my food and submit my order.

3. 1/5Preloading money on an app that you may or may not ever use is a joke!

   I like cherry limeade’s. Matter fact, it’s my favorite drink in the world. And this place makes the best cherry limeade. Wish I could say the same about the food. Sliders masquerading as steak burgers. When people say steak burger, you expect a big fat steak burger, but instead they hand you a slider and tell you it’s a steak burger. Technically, all hamburgers are steak burgers since ground beef is just ground steak. The thing I hate about this app though is that it makes you load money on it before you can use it. I tried to turn auto reload off but it kept flicking back on. I also use the Burger King app, McDonald’s, Hardee’s, and more. I’m 49 and Have been eating fast food twice a day since I was 15, so I consider myself a fast food connoisseur. This app is for the birds. I don’t know how it got such a high rating because usually restaurant apps don’t rate that high. Makes you wonder. I’ll eat here occasionally for the same reason that other people eat here, it’s probably the cheapest of all fast food restaurants and when you’re on a budget you can’t always eat where you want. If they want me to use this app then please include a switch to completely turn off the auto reload and just charge for each order like every other restaurant in the world. Otherwise, I’ll just use the Burger King app, it is always loaded with coupons offering great deals. You guys could learn a thing or two from the Burger King app. My neighbors don’t use this app for the same reason, they don’t wanna load $25 on an app just to go get a hamburger.

4. 1/5WORST SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT EVER

   I’ve been a long-time customer of Steak-n-Shake for years, traveling as far as 2 hours from my home to the nearest location in Memphis, TN to patronize them. But, since a store opened in Tupelo, MS a few days ago, I’ve visited there 3 times. WORST. CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVER! The management team is rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional! Also, they DERIVED THEIR OWN RULE and will not take carry-out orders inside; customers are forced to wait in long drive thru lines, instead of opting to carry out from inside. No other Steak-n-Shake store that I’ve ever visited does this!!! Additionally, all 3 times I’ve visited, once to dine in, was a nightmare!!! I was overcharged every time due to the order taker not ringing in the order correctly. One time when I brought it to the manager’s attention, he became argumentative and acted as if he was right! Math does not lie! Managers seem extremely incompetent! I’ve had rude, disrespectful experiences with 2 males in management, one was a heavy-set tall black man, and the other was a slim, medium height younger white one. Those guys were even rude to their employees—-in front of customers! Also, I have the Steak-n-Shake app on my cell; this app is clearly displayed at the cash registers, as well as accepted at all other stores I’ve visited across the country. Well, when I attempted to use mine at checkout, NOBODY had a clue what to do. Eventually, a black manager guy came forth to tell me that they’re “not a corporate store” and “privately owned” and do not accept the app. Totally disappointed & upset are understatements! Leaders are supposed to lead by example, but those in Tupelo, MS apparently failed to receive adequate training in this area!

5. 2/5Gift card payment won’t submit.

   I Have tried to order multiple times on the app and went to check out with a gift card and when I go to submit the order it says sorry something went wrong. I also tried to order milkshakes for delivery with my gift card online and when I clicked to submit the order it says “ Something Is Wrong We're sorry. The gift card number you entered is either invalid or restricted to dine-in purchases only.” My gift cards are not invalid as the guy at the window the other day swiped them and had no issues swiping it to pay. I have never heard of a gift card that’s not able to be used for a mobile order before. Not sure why I can’t seem to place any mobile or online orders and pay with either of my gift cards but it’s very stressful when I am at the restaurant and unable to place the order to do curbside and have to wait in the drive through. The old app used to work way better.
