5/5Really Fun, Relaxing & Unique Art App
In terms of unique and not your run of the mill art applications. Well, I’d say that, Statera, ranks pretty high up there and that’s an awesome thing in my book. I’ve definitely never used another art app like this one and it’s really cool how you can customize and change all of the shapes in these type of geometric mosaics or something like that, haha. That’s just how different and cool it is that I can’t fully describe what it is :D. Again, that’s a huge plus in my opinion. But, I know one thing for certain and that’s that rendering and printing the pieces of art that I create in this app (assuming they are high resolution enough, I haven’t actually checked that yet ) would look totally rad hung up on my wall I think. It’s like “shape art.” I wouldn’t call it “modern art” per se because that has a real negative connotation in my mind and modern art deserves that I think. Come on, a dude has a painting of two different shades of white hung up in some gallery and I’m still unknown as an artist?! Haha! I loathe modern art. But this app is set up with many different templates and you can go and change and customize the different shapes, their orientations on the canvas and the colors of each shape in the given template. I do wish that there were a lot more colors to choose from. As it is now it’s pretty sparse when it comes to available color choices to choose from. But, I do like the color choices that are offered quite a lot. All of the different canvas templates you can change are set up in this numbered and intersecting grid-like layout is what I guess I would call it. And it’s surprising to me just how long I spent changing the shapes and their colors and overall how relaxing and fun I found it to be. One thing to note, though, is that if you customize a certain template and then pick another and come back. Well, the last one you were on will be set back to the default setting. I learned this the hard way when I for some odd reason thought that I could customize each template and have them all come together in one giant piece of art, haha. I don’t know why I thought this crazy thought exactly. But I did the first and second ones and then went back to look at them and noticed they were set back up to what they originally were. I was like “Oops, that’s not fun” haha. So, if you’ve finished completing a template or whatever you want to call them. Just make sure to hit the save button in the bottom right before moving on to another one. Not an app problem, more of “I’m not all there”, kind of problem :P. In the end I would have to say that I’m very happy with this application. I found it so relaxing as I mentioned just customizing the different shapes and colors in any given canvas to create a unique piece of art. Statera, is definitely a one-of-kind art app in my opinion and that’s refreshing and a really good thing I believe. As I mentioned I would appreciate having more colors available to use in the app and also maybe a bunch more shapes to choose from. Yet, as the app is I’m just really happy to have found this program. Many thanks to the developer on all of the hard work and time no doubt put into creating and maintaining this application. I’m enjoying it quite a bit thus far. Thanks for all of the above and God bless. Used on: iPad Pro 13 inch (M5) (2025) iOS 26.3.1 Addendum: The description mentioning this app is a “perfect dance between logic and art” is totally apt I believe. It truly embodies both distinctions as an art app. Creative and geometric or logical, hehe. Thanks, again, for this really cool and very interesting application.
