1. 5/5Great app but lacking competitive services.

   The app functions terrifically and I never had a problem where I couldn’t log in or that I could navigate the menu. I like that I can send as low as $0.01 sent into a stock. That may be impossible to do percentage wise in M1. Some things that still need tweaking on the banking side such not being able to change the pictures of the goals and only being able to create goals. Auto stash needs the option to withdraw from the available cash in the portfolio and not just the connected banks. The ETF have memorable names and are better than remembering ticker symbols. Names like slow and steady and match the market make so much sense. These are the reason why I am giving the app 5 stars and why I still continue to pay $1 a month on stash. Unfortunately the stash retire and stash+ were not worth it in my opinion as Fidelity offers all those things but with 0 fees. Fidelity even has 0 expense ratio etfs that match the market. Does it get any better than that? I transferred my stash retire to Fidelity. There are also many other banks services offering up to 20x back that make the stock back on the stash card look ridiculous. The stash bank also doesn’t offer any APY interest nor did I see any information on how much interest apex and stash were recipient in funds ready to invest. So I consider this 0% APY. I have cash management accounts and bank accounts giving up to 4% APY. Thank you stash for starting my investment journey but I hope you continue to innovate and bring services that offer a competitive edge.

2. 5/5The AWESOMENESS of Stash creation and creativity

   It’s always better late than never. I know you’ve heard that saying . For me , that rings so true. Although I have only been a Stasher since last year, 2018 , being introduced to you all by my son, I cannot EVEN begin to thank you, the representatives (that have always answered my questions as well as the awesome attitude everyone has, gee you must love working there!) as well as a HUGE thank you to the founders of this incredible company. It is hard to put into words that would justify the gratefulness that I have that Stash was created . And I think I could safely say , on behalf of all 3+million Stashers , that we all agree. We are the ones that GET IT, taking the opportunity that no one else has offered. And because of the uniqueness and beauty of it all, it is really hard for the PRE Stashers to wrap their head around a simple and incredible concept. I for one , am a person that , if I believe in something, and it clicks in my brain, I don’t waste any time, I just do it. I do not procrastinate.. And after only a year, you will be able to see how happy this all makes me. So if you’re all in a meeting somewhere, all I can say is , GIVE YOURSELVES A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE, and look each other in the eye and know that you have made MANY people happy, as well as ecstatic for you have found a way to fill people with HOPE in a desperately troubled world. We can only do what we can do and work only so many hours a week as humanly possible.. YOU have given us a gift. An edge to succeeding, far beyond our own capacity and a hope for the future. 3. 5/5Relative Newbie happily and easily investing money

   I downloaded this app about a year ago and have accumulated a nice chunk of change in my investments without feeling like I was spending all of my money. I like how you can invest as little as you want on whatever timeframe works for you. I was able to set my preferences and then leave it alone and watch my balances go up. I have it automatically withdraw money from my bank account on pay days and it invests it for me, so I don’t forget. I’ve also taken advantage of the bank account they offer and put my weekly spending money on there so that as I am shopping, I’m buying stocks as well. I turned on the round up feature but they also give you minuscule amounts of stocks just for using your card. They have information available to help ensure you are diversifying your investments, too. This app is super easy for new investors or anyone who doesn’t have a lot of money to invest. I did get really excited about how I was finally able to build up money in some investments, that I downloaded another app that is supposed to be investing for stock bits but the other app was not as user friendly, in my opinion as I am still learning about investing. I recommend this app to all of my friends (and not just because of the referral bonus). Good luck on your investments!

5. 5/5A good habit of saving.

   I started Stash about four months ago. I didn’t deposit anything for the first month and kinda just researched the app a little bit. The first thing i love about Stash is that it’s super user friendly. It’s easy for me to navigate and it’s beautifully built. The second thing i like about it, is that you can go at your own pace, whatever that may be. This app is meant for INVESTING which means “stashing” your money away and forgetting about it. Me personally, I’ve always tried to set money back in my savings and checking account and it just seemed like nothing ever grows. With stash, I’m able to put back an amount that is comfortable for me. They have a feature called auto-stash and i turned that on. I set my limit at $10 a week, noticed it was super easy and wasn’t losing any sleep over it, so i moved it up to $30. I did $30 for a few weeks and got excited so i bumped it up to $60 a week. For me, this is the perfect flow right now. It’s been three months of consistent saving, NO withdraws, and i purchased some ETF’s and Stocks in a few companies and my stash account just hit $1,000 with $104 being a return. This is a great way for you to save a little bit of money, and letting it grow over time. I give it 5 stars for my experience. I may leave another review when i hit 5k!! 😛

   Terrible, I used stash for years from banking to a Roth IRA. all of a sudden, out of the blue they debank me and with no explanation at all. Also they are holding my money for some undisclosed amount of time, not just my ira or my portfolio but my bank account cash. So my money is all in limbo now, hopefully this helps people make an informed decision about add cash on to Stash. Edit: Here its 7/27/26 and stash still hasn't returned all my money yet. They closed my account on 4/8/26.

   I was fine with using stash. I started my account when it was still $1/month to use their app. I was fine when it moved to $3/month a couple of years ago. I am not fine with them forcing us all to use their $12/month plan. I dont want all the fancy help. I just want a simple place to hold my investments. I am actively trying to move my few stocks to a better institute.

   The company changed its monthly agreement on longstanding customers and then charges you a fee to transfer funds out. They lost my $$ for good. Hopefully many others will follow. Don't bother installing.... they just announced to current users a 4x monthly fee increase in July. It was already an overpriced investment app before the increase so there has to be better options. Yearly tax documents are always late, customer service is nonexistent. Stash is no longer worth the cost or hassle.

   I've been using this service since 2019, and I used to love it, but they just announced 4x price increase! They say it's to give everyone access to their "best" services, but those "services" are just a credit card and a life insurance policy. I don't want a credit card and a life insurance policy from an investment app. I sent a thoughtful email to their support about why I'm canceling, and I got an empathetic email signed "A.I. Stash Support." This company doesn't care about you.

   They're removing the starter plan at $32/yr in favor of charging you over 3 times the amount ($108/yr) while removing useful features in the UI/UX and putting them behind their AI chat which is incredibly inaccurate when it actually works and can't answer your query more than half the time. Less usability and less features for more of my money? No thanks, I'd rather set my money on fire. Stash, you're a pathetic joke
