This update solves some small problems with the determination of your current speed.

  • 1.1

The first big update of “Speedometer” includes a new, fresh design. The overhauled interface allows you to swipe between the four units by just using your finger. I did some refinements under the hood, too: The app should consume less power and should start faster than before. Thanks a lot for using “Speedometer”! :)

This update solves some small problems with the determination of your current speed.

  • 1.2

This update contains a new unit: min./500m. Speedometer user Oliver is a voluntary trainer of a group of teenage rowers. He contacted me and I am very happy to fulfill his wish. Thanks for your feedback, Oliver! :)

  • 1.2.1

Whoops: This updates resolves a small issue which could result in a crash of the app.

  • 1.3

It took quite some time, but with this update, “Speedometer” gains Dark Mode support for iOS. You will benefit from the new, dark look (if the iOS setting is enabled). My “tip” concept was refined, too. If you decide to tip me (you are awesome! :)), as a sign of my appreciation, you will gain access to three more color themes in addition to the default theme called “pear”. :) All color themes support Dark Mode and even include a color-matching app icon. You already tipped me in the past? As mentioned above: You are awesome! :) Please use the “Restore purchases” button to gain access to the color themes after the update. This did not work as expected? In this case, please contact me ([email protected]), I will be happy to help. I wish you a lot of fun using “Speedometer”! :)

  • 1.3.1

  • 1.4 · 8 Mar 2026

With this update, I've updated Speedometer's technical infrastructure to improve stability. The app's features remain completely unchanged. :)
