3/5Good for some functions....
I've had this app for years and years (near its inception) but have unfortunately become less and less happy with it. The annual renewal fee, not so happy about that..... that wasn't the deal when I initially bought the app. But, it's less than 10 cents a month when broken down, so that's more irritating on principle (not honoring your initial offering and "grandfathering in" earlier purchases) Mostly, I ended up using it for tracking trades which works well. Wasn't a fan of the layout in the "stats" section an update or two ago, but the red/green/gray weren't a bad addition. And to their credit, over the years they have corrected many issues as they were identified (like the hours being off by a minute when scheduling a day). Truly it's not a bad product, and I'm sure they have reasoning for the business model...... over all worth it, but I've found other methods for the functions of the app I use. I won't be using it, or paying the annual fee again. The kicker that ruffled my feathers (as small as it may seem) was changing the name AND logo at the same time. They changed the name a couple times over the years, but it still had "cal" or "scheduler" or at least one word from each previous name, so I could app search (which is how I quickly bring up my frequent apps), but this time nada. Spark, that's all it's called and didn't make sense from "fire house scheduler" "crew cal"...... like I said, I'm sure they have their marketing reasons, but it's beyond me. Bottom line, it's still an easy trade tracker, you have options for tracking vac, comp time, FLSA cycles (I set that up myself), etc. Just not so happy about a constantly changing interface.

1/5Doesn’t want to update
This developer, after charging all of us long time users again and again, now yearly, says he’s not sure if an iPhone X update will be coming to the app because “it’s costly.” REALLY??? If you’re going to charge us yearly, this app should be PROMPTLY UPDATED! The iPhone X update should have been done before the iPhone X launched, like most other developers have. This guy is very greedy! To top it off, I keep getting prompted to review his app even though I have option turned off in settings. This guy wants to make recurring money with yearly subscriptions without having to pay for the work to keep app updated.

5/5Great app for busy people.
This app has been amazingly simple to use, as well as being customizable and having the ability to share makes it an awesome tool to keep our family informed of each other’s always hectic, ever-changing schedules. Having two jobs, leading both our department hazardous materials response team, and the Honor Guard can lead the wife and daughter to wonder when I may be strolling home to visit. By adding this user friendly app to my phone, I have been able to maximize quality family time and allow others, by sharing of schedules, to know when I am not available for work. By doing this I have found that we may spend more quality time as a family. Being able to create custom events allows us, as a family, to add all the daily events easily, and within in seconds, create and share those together without conflict or confusion. Truly love this app!

5/5Worth every penny - love this app!
Between all of us, my coworkers & I have tried almost every shift scheduling app out there. Final verdict: Spark is miles ahead of any other. I hear it was the original and it’s still the best. It offers 10x more options than the others I tried and is so much easier to use. I honestly could not live without it now. Tracks everything I need to stay organized at work and home - worth every penny. Great customer service and product, recommend it to everyone!

Not only is the app amazing; but the customer service is incredible! I had some trouble with an update, and I lost all my previously entered “device calendar” events. I was very frustrated. I received personal phone calls from the administrator; and he was able to walk me through restoring the app, AND all my calendar events. Excellent app. Excellent service. I highly recommend it! Worth every penny, and then some.
