Sottaku 4.0.0 adds basic support for Spanish, French, German and Italian. Versions 4.0.0+ will become a mandatory update in the near future.

Sottaku 5.1.0 brings a major mobile experience upgrade with easier access to flashcards and beginner guide practice, smoother quizzes, media, social, and messaging, plus better support for larger text, right-to-left languages, and every interface locale.

Sottaku 5.2.0 makes all 15 study languages available to everyone, adding Russian, Latin, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi. Explore new Quran and Tanakh readers, Quran flashcard packs, dictionary-linked Tanakh text, and expanded alphabet practice. This update also improves quizzes, Vietnamese tone input, Hebrew audio, handwriting, right-to-left interactions, and offline flashcard review.

Sottaku 5.2.1 fixes navigation for morphology, noun-form, and Cyrillic practice quizzes; improves Arabic and Hebrew reading marks in media, including inflected words; and expands Vietnamese Hán-Nôm character coverage. It also prevents blank Android notification summaries and improves completed rank challenge handling.

Sottaku 5.2.2 improves rank challenges for languages that practice noun forms or morphology, including typed-answer questions and the right keyboard for each language. Recent activity now shows clearer morphology prompts and the exact selected and correct answers for noun-form quizzes. This update also expands Vietnamese Hán-Nôm character coverage.

Sottaku 5.2.3 makes the quiz tour fit cleanly on smaller screens and keeps New badges visible while browsing media. Vietnamese labels and Hán-Nôm character coverage have also been improved. The August challenge season introduces the Sottakushka reward emoji.

Sottaku 5.3.0 strengthens account protection across email, Google, and Apple sign-in. Email verification links now return you to registration more reliably, and subscription and gift purchases are matched more securely to the correct account.

Sottaku 5.3.1 improves account security and sign-in reliability. Sign-in credentials are now protected by your device’s secure storage, and sessions refresh more safely. Google and Apple sign-in now guides you through linking an existing Sottaku account when needed, and account deletion details are clearer.

Sottaku 5.3.2 makes account recovery, registration, and sign-in more reliable. When extra verification is needed, the app now guides you through an email code or security check. Email verification and Google and Apple account linking are smoother, and signing out or deleting an account now clears downloaded and cached account data more thoroughly.
