Completing a session drops from around 12 seconds to about 1, and the AI palate insight returns in roughly 8 seconds instead of 40. The moment you tap Complete, you actually see results. Got a wine name or vintage wrong? Edit it any time, even after a session is complete. Sommo re-resolves the wine through AI and updates your journal entry to match, so what's on your tasting card is what's in your journal. A gear icon for session settings, a clearer pencil for per-wine edits, and no more orphan dots on wine subtitles when a producer or vintage is missing. ADD A WINE BY NAME, EVERYWHERE Label too faded to scan, or you already know the wine? "Add by Name" is now a top-level button on Home, Scan, and inside Tasting Mode. Scan history sits above as a small caption ("scanned 3 times, first this week"), and a gentle nudge appears when you're a couple of entries away from unlocking your Taste DNA. SCAN RELIABILITY, REBUILT Scans no longer hang or silently consume a credit on failure: clearer errors, durable credit refunds when a scan can't finish, and graceful partial results when the AI runs out of room mid-response. TYPED WINE NAMES, SHARPER Adding a wine by name is smoother. Sommo reads the vintage straight from what you typed and no longer offers a confusing "None of these" when it isn't sure. When a slot is already taken, choose Place behind or Swap with front bottle, so a deep cellar finally fits the way you actually store it. ONE CLEAR WAY TO PLACE AND MOVE Placing and moving bottles is one obvious flow now. An unplaced bottle offers Place on rack and walks you straight through it. A bottle already on the rack offers Move. No more guessing which picker you are in. STORAGE CONDITIONS PER RACK Tell Sommo how each rack is stored and your drinking windows follow. Set conditions for a whole rack, override a single lot when you need to, and every bottle's readiness updates to match. Scan the flight card or search by name to build the flight, rate on cards that show grape, region, and score, and add flavour tags as you go. When your access comes from someone else's purchase, Sommo labels it clearly and points subscription management to the purchaser.
