  1. 5/5Soccer Manager 2025: The Ultimate Football Management Experience

From the moment I launched Soccer Manager 2025, I could tell this year’s edition was a huge leap forward. The interface is cleaner, faster, and more immersive than ever, making it easy to jump right into managing without feeling overwhelmed. The match engine feels more realistic, with smarter AI, better player movements, and results that reflect your tactics more accurately. Every transfer, lineup decision, and tactical tweak feels impactful, which makes every matchday exciting. What really sets SM25 apart is the depth of its career mode. Scouting feels more authentic, contract negotiations have more personality, and youth development is now genuinely rewarding. I loved seeing academy players grow into first-team stars and watching my long-term strategies pay off. The addition of enhanced stats and match analysis tools makes it feel like you’re running a real club, not just playing a game. Overall, Soccer Manager 2025 is easily the best entry in the series so far. It captures the thrill, tension, and satisfaction of being in the dugout better than ever before. Whether you’re chasing silverware with a powerhouse or building a small club into a giant, SM25 delivers a deeply satisfying and endlessly replayable football management experience. This is a must-play for any fan of the beautiful game.

  2. 5/5Good game,have don’t work

It's a great game in itself, but it has flaws, add a real price tag for players from both the transfer market, upgrade or add free agents, and especially from South American countries, add the second RPL league, make sure that clubs from the RPL play in some other continental cups besides the Champions League, make it better developed young talents, as well as to add a rating for good play and statistics to players who have reached the peak or passed their development and remove the rating for players who have weak statistics, they are old but still the rating is huge for some reason, add more honest ratings of players because if compared with the same FC26, they are very different. It would also be interesting to see other versions of the game, such as 2018 or 2015. It would also be cool if you added the ability to simulate an entire season and see the final development of your players and your team's achievements during that time.

  3. 4/5Great but many bugs and improvement needed.

Been playing this game since 2021 and I took a break for SM24 and I was excited to come back, hoping a lotta things would change in the game but, it felt familiar to the older versions. I also noticed some bugs from the older game like, not being able to easily switch your players from the lineup, some players running towards the stands and disappearing, players getting upset about their playing times after resting for a few games when they literally need it, the money system is still the same (you get like $35 million for winning the premier league) which is so inaccurate to real life prize money. More things like not being able to sell some players just because they never want to move to any club that are interested, too many injuries sometimes for no reason, the youth players ratings are too low while also only growing +1 every upgrade (defenders tend to grow way slower than attackers or midfielders). The new bugs for current game are not getting offered from big national team if you rebuild a small team (I chose English national league team and brought them to premier league after years but never got the chance to manage a big national team). Whenever I play as a big club, I get good offers from national teams. A lot of the goal scoring are always or mostly in the first half for me idk why . For example first half would be 2-0, and would always stay that score till the end. Also, players are still requesting to play after I added them to the transfer list which makes no sense. Another problem is the “world player of the year” because it’s fun and cool to check it every year to see who won it, but my best player rating was 95 and we won a treble while he scored 60+ goal that season, and yet Morata won it with a rating of “84” while winning and doing nothing🤣. Overall, this game’s hella fun but I believe there could be improvements made for it to be more fun. Appreciate it.

  4. 4/5This game is a shambles

I have played this game since 2020. Over the course of that span, I have seen some good editions of the game, SM20 and SM23 probably the best, and have seen some fairly disappointing ones. This game however is by FAR the worst game I’ve ever seen playing this series. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from last year has changed. No new squad roles, no new tactics, no new NOTHING. How lazy must these developers be to completely resent and ignore what was a great and enjoyable game in the past? I have been crying out for inverted full backs in the game, one of the most COMMONLY used trends in football today. And also, not a single player in the game plays under the role of “sweeper keeper” when that is literally the DEFINITION of players like Andre Onana, Vicario, Raya, Ederson, etc. In all honesty, the layout last year looks WAY better than last year, so in a way they have worsened the game from last year. I hope my opinion on this game eventually changes over time, but so far this game is in shambles and something’s need to change in SM26 next year for this game to stay relevant.

  5. 4/5Solid Football Managing simulation

This game is an interesting one but ultimately makes for a fun and interesting experience. What the game does well - I really like the tactic system of this game, it allows your to adjust formations and positioning super easily while allowing you to adjust tactics and player rolls on the fly. - the facilities menu again makes this game really special. Going in a direction with your club whether it be youth development, scouting for transfers, getting a better club zone or improving your training grounds the game allows you to make your team really feel like it has its own identity. What needs to improve -Gameplay. It’s the elephant in the room with this game. Despite being mostly a simulation game, SM25 still shows a live action view of goals and key moments. And it’s bad. The graphics are one things, it feels as though there’s only 2 models in the game, so either a bearded ginger or a short haired darker model scores your goal. But the game play is bad. Players running around clueless, stopping while the opposition runs through on goal. This game definitely still needs to iron out some kinks, I know it’s only an iPhone game but I feel like this aspect could be much better. -the transfer system. Every time you go to try and acquire a player, you go into a three round bidding war. I wish the game offered more options into the deals and didn’t make it so negotiations were like public auctions and nothing more. All in all a solid game, that really could take that next step.
