1. 5/5Way better than I expected. Super organized and easy to use!

   I was honestly skeptical before downloading Snag. I’ve tried a bunch of local listing apps before and they were always messy, confusing, or full of stuff that wasn’t even real. Snag ended up being the complete opposite. Everything is way more organized than I expected. The listings are clean, updated, and actually useful. It’s super easy to scroll through and find exactly what you’re looking for without dealing with random spam or chaos. The pickup info is clear, the interface makes sense, and the whole process feels smooth compared to other apps. I’m glad I gave it a chance because it’s become one of the easiest ways for me to find things I need without paying for them. If you’re unsure like I was, just try it. It’s way better than you think.

2. 1/5Fake and stolen listings

   I downloaded the app and was consistently prompted to subscribe for $10 a week! First off that in itself is crazy as an app that portrays FREE ITEMS. It is not free if I’m paying to even find the items. Second it’s required to even click on a listing let alone to save or message about the items I set it to my current location and prior to purchasing the membership it showed me a screen with multiple items and their distance away from me. As they seemed like decent items I purchased the subscription to at least view the listings. After my purchase all of those items disappeared!! It was left with one item near me and the caption literally read NOT FREE! It was a dog. That’s insane. So I thought well I already paid let’s look at bigger cities near me. Pretty much nothing and then when you click on the snag it button it takes you to freaking Facebook! All of these posts with most good ones being bots or clearly stating they’re not free and they literally just send you to Facebook where you could find it yourself without the costs. Literal shame and false advertising. I hope this app gets shut down soon and I pray no one else falls victim.

3. 5/5It actually works i’m shocked !!! Just picked up my first order

   i saw this being promoted by one of my favorite influencers so i decided to try it out for a month, skeptical at first. I was able to find a lot of items for free but never had time to actually pick them up, and this time I went to go find some furniture and i found the most perfect couch and hair curler that is in wonderful condition. I recommend this to anyone who doesn’t mind second hand items that are in good condition. Sometimes if you get lucky i see some brand new items that get snagged pretty fast though! i’m addicted!

   i was hesitant on getting this app, and i shouldn’t have gotten it. i saw this off an ad on instagram and was interested, so being a broke college student, i got it. come to know that you can’t see ANYTHING, or do ANYTHING unless you pay for the app. if you don’t pay for it, all you see is the entire screen blurred. all the icons and whatever is also all blurred. you can’t look at your ‘favorites’, because that’s locked behind payment. this entire app is locked behind payment. i didn’t expect that gorging in, in all honesty. i was hopeful to have an app where i can get stuff free of charge, because it’s hard being a broke college student 😭. i think the devs should at least allow you to see SOME items without making you pay. but, if you want to see items further away/more items per-day, you have to pay. like i hope they can think of an alternative, incase some people like me aren’t able to pay for it.

5. 5/5Great idea but unused

   5 star so it’s so seen** This apps idea is awesome but in our general area there is never anything listed. I downloaded and paid for the app when I was under the impression I would see some things. I get constant notifications that things are listed but there isn’t anything. And now I have a weird issue where things are being listed for a very distant location. I have my current location on and it’s set to 20 miles but it only shows me thing that are 3k miles away.
