1. 5/5One of the better apps for alt lifestyle

   One of the issues in the lifestyle! Issss It feels stuck in the 80s ... improvement to apps like this is a much need ! The more people who have a positive experience . The better the lifestyle will be for everyone ! We have Friends who I’m sure have looked around on a couple’s dating app . And they are Still not had any experience s . We feel improved apps like this will better help all people feel more comfortable dipping their toes into the lifestyle . With that said the lifestyle is challenged enough, thank you sls for investing your time your money . Thank you ! BnK

2. 3/5Great app.....but

   This has been a great app that complements the website very well. It is easy to navigate and you can tell with each up date they are working hard to fix the small bugs that happen every so often. I have three issues or I would have give it five stars. 1. When the app auto renews the monthly subscription it does not update on the website. You become an unpaid member and can not see pictures that have been unlocked to you by other members. That leads me into number two. 2. You can not see or manage your private or personal photos. If we could do that it would help some of problem in number 1. And 3. You can not see as many profiles on the app as you can on the website. This must be due to some type of inappropriate pictures. But the only way to see some profiles is to search for them, if they message you or you made them a “friend” on the website and they show up in your favorites. I have noticed i have more people that have viewed on the website than the app. So as I said the app complements the website very well if you use them both together, but hopefully they are working to make it so the app can work independently from the site.

3. 1/5This is a terrible app… still!

   This app is functional… mostly… the rating is reflective of the app and not the website or services they provide there. We are paid members. Pros: the services provided by this company are very good on the whole and the user experience on the website is great (but not the app). Cons: searching on the app is terrible and preferences for it are ignored by the app, app will discontinue music being played if app is opened, favorites are unavailable, private galleries are default unlocked on the app to other paying members but not on the website, The ‘who viewed me’ section is broken and push notifications don’t work at all. If I was using the app on vacation, it would be almost entirely worthless away from my laptop. Would be nice: a way for the two people that share the account to log on individually so that a chat can be had amongst all parties. Though one person may be the communicator, this is not always the case. This app has potential, but as it stands there are many ways for it to improve. For a paid service, I would expect a polished app and not something like this. It needs major improvements. I will gladly change my rating if it is repaired and improved.

4. 3/5People on the app are amazing. The app, not so much

   It’s really difficult to load photos, depending on when you try to do so. Sometimes it takes weeks. Updating your profile can take days. You are constantly matched to your own profile especially if you search by distance. The messaging server is constantly down which requires an additional form of communication. So more often than not, you express your interest in a person or couple or event and then have to exchange other contact info because it takes forever to communicate through the app. That being said, the search bar is amazing, you can adjust just about anything your into while searching. The connections are great, and other than what’s stated above the match feature is awesome. This app feels like it’s straight out of 1997, but the SLS community is full of understanding people that genuinely love to make connections. How about making it easier for us to do so?

5. 2/5Beware of security issues

   Was an SLS member for nearly a decade...but a recent security issue prompted us to terminate our membership. Yes, the mobile site is different from the website, but the data security is the same. The SLS site has long been considered “antiquated”, but the app was an improvement on the approach. Obviously the drawbacks of the iOS environment (specifically with pictures) are not the fault of SLS. That said, a “virus” prompted SLS to take the entire service down for several days. With no legitimate explanation (aside from a canned response), one should seriously consider the privacy of their information. Discretion in the lifestyle is utmost importance and, unfortunately, I don’t believe that SLS takes this matter seriously. Before downloading this app, visit the website and determine if you feel comfortable that it conveys confidence in security. I would imagine that it will not.
