1. 5/5Lightyears ahead vs Pokemon Collection Trackers

   As a UX/UI designer and digital marketer myself, I cannot recommend Shiny over other platforms any higher. I’ve tried them all.. and this checks all the boxes. The scanner is more accurate, the exporting is cohesive and detailed, the grouping is organized, price accuracy is spot-on, and overall the app is just simply the most intuitive to use. Stop wasting time tapping around trying to find the price or having to open up eBay solds in a new tab just to find the data you’re actually looking for and just save time and frustration by using Shiny. The developer is extremely active and responsive, genuinely cares about his users and the success of his product.. actually listens and includes your suggestions into updates. Couldn’t be happier supporting this app. I’m a user for life.

2. 5/5Trusted App - Worthwhile Community

   Collecting TCG can be a difficult hobby to navigate at times. From fluctuating product availability, to even understand what you want to collect. Shiny offers a professionals insight into tracking, finding, and monitoring a large selection of TCG to ensure we as a community can ensure we can responsibly represent the hobby in a way that is both fun, and meaningful! It’s taken my Pokemon collection to a new level! From tracking my sealed products value, to simply stabbing in my childhood collection. Shiny really has opened opportunities in collecting TCG that the competition hasn’t yet tapped into. I’d recommend anyone try this app if interesting in collecting Pokemon and other card games!

   This app has made my life so much easier! Organizing my kid’s binders and my own has been a large task but the Shiny app makes it so we can quickly search our virtual binder collections for any cards we need for deck building (or in case we forget we already have several of a card and are in the card shop contemplating getting another lol). I had a question and sent it over to the contact email - a response was sent back within just a couple hours, if that! Really glad we have an app like this, and I can tell that getting the pro version will be worth it. Thank you Shiny!!!

   Please please enable bulk adding (or selecting multiple on searches) and filtering by owned or not owned, variants, etc. Such simple features that, without, exclude huge parts of the collectors community… makes us with thousands in our collection so hard to import in to. If you want new customers, make it easy for them to add their collection. Also, using PriceCharting for graded slabs is fine except for trying to differentiate grade values of BGS vs others. For instance, BGS 9.5 on destined rivals mewtwo is worth $1200+, but CGC 9.5 is like $500. Price charting doesn’t differentiate, just averages out, way under valuing BGS slabs. Work around is custom pricing, but have to manually maintain, which kind of defeats the purpose. Using eBay directly for averages, or another more refined source would be better.

   I was honestly on the fence on which app to use to keep track of my collection. After several comparisons and multiple hours worth of research sessions, I decided on this app.. and have absolutely no regrets! The app runs great, the UI is clean, and it already has several top notch features. Notably, in my case, the scanning feature has been the most accurate between any other apps I’ve tried. On top of that, the updates, developer communication, and support have all been top-notch so far. Excited to continue using it and honestly can’t wait to see how it progresses over time.
