1. 5/5I love this app but…

   I love this app a lot because a lot of people can get to know me from around the world like who I am, my cultural background, religion and other of my personal life. The only problem with this app is I can’t set my location on my public sendit profile it shows that I’m in Greenland but I downloaded this app when I travelled there but in reality I live in the Philippines you need to fix that and another thing is that you should be able to see the person who messages you when they reply to your Ai link because I don’t know who is calling me cute and asking me weird questions like; “Can we make children? Your hot…” and I’m sitting here confused because I already have a fiancé and I don’t have her snap because she don’t have it. This app should add more features such as making a bio and what your job / business is (if you work) I also think there should be more to the settings and I feel like you should be able to have the chance to post videos of yourself to entertain your profile viewers. I hope this app improves and that’s all I have to say!

2. 1/5Location shared unwillingly, wrong pronouns, and more

   In some of the sections, it got my pronouns wrong. It has one free regeneration per day, so I regenerated it. It didn’t fix the issue, and it still had incorrect pronouns. A few days later, I tried to refresh it again. It still used incorrect pronouns. I tried contacting support on Snapchat, but it brushed me off and told me there were free refreshes. The next issue, I was unable to turn off location sharing. My location wasn’t shared with the app in settings, yet it somehow found a place near my location and displayed that on my PUBLIC PROFILE with no way to turn it off or make your profile private. I suspect it somehow found my location through Snapchat, but I don’t have a clue how. You can also input your location and school. I chose a school named something along the lines of “Your mom school” and a completely random location. It didn’t display this location, it displayed the place that was near my actual, real location. Lastly, the final issue isn’t as bad but is still annoying. Once you put the sendit on your Snapchat account for people to ask questions, sendit will send in fake ai or pre-made messages. The messages are along the lines of “I miss you…” “I saw you yesterday, guess who this is” “I love you - B.” I know these weren’t real as I’ve gotten them multiple times through sendits and seen other people getting them. It’s worth mentioning I haven’t actually used the app in a while, so the AI generated messages may be more elaborate or there may be more of them. This app is horrible and the customer service is a joke, please don’t get this if you want a decent user experience

3. 2/5i am just TIRED of the ai, dude.

   okay this was copy and pasted from my complaint to the snapchat team of sendit; hello, i would just like to complain about the ai usage on your app. i recently re-downloaded it out of boredom, but was quickly reminded of why i stopped using it in the first place- how pushy and artifical everything is. most of the questiond arent even from people, but from the ai trying to create engagement. and messages? that is creepy, i got a person way out of my age range saying something along the lines of “i know somebody who youd find cute, you should play Ship Me and find out ;)”. the ai messaging with regular people is already awful, and the images are even worse. i understand the want to incorporate user engangment and entertainment, but the constant pop up of “answer _ questions to learn about ______!!”. overall, i hope you hear me out on my rant, i know i am not the only user dissatisfied with the app today. overall, the increase of ai usage has created such a sterile environment. you’ll have random people’s ai’s asking you questions just because of engagement, and when you try w your friends ai’s theyll be totally inaccurate. my advice? remove most of the features. i can tell you, no body would miss those flimsy ai pictures or weird ai responses. and anybody that does can create them elsewhere. the app sendit bases itself as a way to answer fun questiony games with friends- not question if your friend or a stranger’s supposed ai personality is swiping up. also! the ai has a tendency to get stuck on one event, mine got stuck on zip-lining and my friend’s on softball and her brother. its annoying. if you must keep the ai, fix it?!?!!! majority if people will just click the dice/randomizer button , so make it an actual GOOD randomizer, pls and thx!?

4. 1/5Bad experience due to misleading messages

   I have never felt the need to rate an experience until now. I find the app itself to be produced to a quality standard. My issue is that it produced a stressful and embarrassing experience for me because it sent me AI-produced anonymous messages under the illusion that they were responses to my Snapchat story, I had no responses. It asked me questions I would not normally expect to receive, surprising me a little, somewhat exciting me a little, and also made me feel as though people generally thought about me more than I would have thought, thinking I perhaps should have done this sort of anonymous question thing a while ago. When I looked at my story, however, while it was plausible that the amount of people who saw the story could have sent all the questions, it felt a little unlikely. I used good ‘ol ChatGPT (I’m gonna give it a 5 star rating after this) to ask if Sendit sends AI messages to an affirmative response. This worried me a little, I then felt the need to see who had sent the messages but this was blocked by paywall, which I anxiously and embarrassingly purchased my way through. Upon reviewing the messages, EVERY SINGLE ONE had been sent by AI! In what was an otherwise relative of short duration, Sendit sent several questions under the guise of being anonymous story responses which was a great embarrassment as those watching my story were watching me answer questions which would be odd to ask of me and which I was answering to certainly no interest. Embarrassing. Regardless of quality, the user should not be neglected with respect to this understanding. I suggest there be a clear and free distinction between AI and real responses before the anonymity begins. Until this is implemented, I will not be using this app again.

5. 3/5the subscription is NOT WORTH IT

   i generally love sendit, it’s a cool app and i love doing the different things! but the diamond subscription thing… def not worth it. the only main thing is useless hints.. all i got from it was bad hints and a new app icon. (wow.. 😐) it says you get “no ads” but i already had no ads even when i had the free version. i think having trophies or different app icons are pretty useless, like no one really cares about that. but the only reason i bought it was for the hints. it really tricked me into buying because it said “hints include first initial of the name, eye color, hair color” but i didn’t get ANY of those out of the 20 sendits i got. all i got was “this person is cool 😎 they’re friends with (someone i have on snap)” or “this person lives in (town) and has an iphone” and even “you can bike to this person but you would be tired” like how are those helpful!? wow i know that they’re mutuals with one of my friends.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ i canceled literally a day after i got it. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE PRICE. 10 bucks a week!?! what a scam. it should be 10 a month OR actually TELL you the person is instead of giving those useless hints. i actually wrote a lot bc i’m really not happy with the subscription. so basically sendit itself is amazing but the subscription is worthless!!!
