1. 5/5Great study aid.

   I really love almost everything about this app. I thought about taking 1 star off because this year there has been a tendency from time to time to have only the daily scripture available without the extra commentary. Sometimes this happened for a week at a time. Then all of the extra commentary for that week would show up in a day. That is a lot of makeup reading for a busy mom who is barely finding the time to get through the daily sections. I found it frustrating and nearly gave up a couple of times but I’m glad I stuck with it. My study habits have never been stronger and I owe that to this app. For a free app it’s amazing! For a trusted tool it could use a bit more reliably. My guess is the problem comes down to resources and I pray that they will be blessed with those resources to build this app to even greater things in the future.

2. 4/5This app has blown my mind!

   I would give this app 10 stars if I could, it truly is a game changer. I have been praying for a while for my scripture study to improve. Then I discovered, through a podcast, the Book of Mormon Central website. I started reading Knowhy’s as part of my study and enjoyed them, but I still struggled to really dig into the Book of Mormon. Then I was listening to a Fair Mormon conference podcast and BMC introduced the scripture plus app with all the KnoWhy’s integrated right into the verses. I downloaded it immediately. I love the format and I have seen improvements and additions (ie. Book of Mormon Minute, videos, landscape view etc.) as I have used it. There have been growing pains as they add content, but I’ve gotten quick responses, and it gets corrected pretty quickly. I can tell the folks at BMC are passionate about making all the videos, beautiful art, charts, scholarship and commentary easily accessible to everyone. It has truly been an answer to my prayers. I now look forward to, and crave, opportunities to sit and feast on the Book of Mormon. Thank you so much for all your work.

3. 5/5Beautiful and Inspiring Scripture Study

   This app really is something special. It is easily the most aesthetically appealing, interesting, and exciting scripture study app I have used. And it works so seamlessly. I love how I can scroll down as I’m reading and new study helps just magically appear as I go. I also enjoy the fact that it already has the brand new Book of Mormon videos and images that the Church has just released linked into the appropriate places in the text. You can watch them right in the app. I understand that more content will be added in the future, which makes it exciting to think that I’ll be able to go back and review earlier sections of the text to see what new content has been added to the study helps. Overall, the app is beautifully done and runs smoothly. It has already become my and my family’s favorite way to study the Scriptures.

4. 5/5Spectacular!

   There are so many ways to customize scripture reading for yourself or those you’re teaching, whether an adult Gospel Doctrine class or your children at home. You can read the scriptures in paragraphs (which is easier for me to get the purpose and meanings which are supposed to be tied together) and almost every verse has some excellent teaching/studying materials linked to them. Are you worried that your teenagers or primary kids are going to have a hard time paying attention, there are pictures or videos. Are you trying to enrich your own scripture study, there are illustrations that tie ideas and concepts together. Wonderful app. I hope, as i dig into it more, that there are references to general conference talks or institute manuals or the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith tied into their links.

5. 5/5Marvelous way to study and prepare lessons

   I can not express in words how much I love this app! I am an early morning seminary teacher and spend a lot of time preparing lessons every day. I love that there are videos, explanations, quotes, and more to go with the scriptures. It amazes me, as I move down the scriptures the cursor shows things that go with that scripture. How cool is that. Everything in one app. I appreciate the makers of this app. God bless y’all. I also love having the words and names of the Lord in red. I love that, since the challenge from President Nelson, to do that I took that challenge in my paper scriptures. I love that it’s on my digital scriptures for me❤️❤️❤️❤️thanks again. I highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to get more meaningful scripture study. I have gained so much more than just reading. Lisa Romine
