   normally i never write reviews, but i was looking everywhere for a casting app that i didn’t have to pay money for if i didn’t want all the extra features. every other app i tried forced you to pay a subscription for the bare minimum of being able screen mirror at all. now that said, the quality isnt the best and i don’t hear audio (maybe i’m doing something wrong but i hear it through my phone rather than the tv) but thats understandably expected without the premium version. im glad i found a reasonable, NOT money hungry, casting app! just the way it should be

2. 2/5Works but is super laggy/pixelated

   Been having issues trying to mirror my iPhone to my Sony smart tv. I also have a fire tv cube that I’ve been able to DL an app to be able to mirror my phone too but I was having issues with that tonight as well so I thought I would try again to figure out a way to connect my phone to my tv because I wanted to watch a doc that I couldn’t find anywhere else except on my phone. I tried one app that didn’t work but this app connected straight away and their logo popped up right on my tv so I was okay with paying the $35 to buy it to use it since I thought If it works I would definitely use it again in the future. But when I actually started mirroring my phone I had to laugh because it literally only took up a tiny little part of the middle of the screen (I’m not sure exactly how big my tv is but it’s over 55 inches so it looked funny just having a tiny rectangle in the middle showing my mirrored iPhone surrounded by so much black). Maybe if I mirrored my iPad or MacBook (dunno if it works on either) the image would be larger but I didn’t even attempt too because it was soooo laggy and grainy. This works (well for me it did on my iPhone 15 pro max and Sony tv) but it was just useless for watching any movie. Maybe if the image filled up the whole screen but there was no way to even flip the mirrored image so even if I made the movie full screen on my phone it was so tiny on my tv. Might look better like I said using it on an iPad or computer but I didn’t even try cause it was so laggy and pixelated. Might be useful for people not wanting to mirror movies but still images or whatever. Requested a refund from Apple for the $35 I spent on it. Sry for my super long review!

3. 1/5Overpriced Scam

   I bought this app because it was free and seemed to be good quality. Once I downloaded it I tried it out and found that not only when connected to the tv would it only play audio and no picture, but the audio was skipping and severely low quality. I then found that I had to pay weekly if I wanted to have the picture mirroring on the screen along with the crappy audio. I just downloaded a different app that is completely free and has the best quality, both picture and audio. The only thing you have to pay for in this other app is perks like removing a logo on the tv screen when mirroring- that’s it! It doesn’t force you into paying to actually see what you’re screen mirroring like this app does, which is really poorly developed and should be reworked. Very misleading and is not worth it.

4. 1/5No support, tricked to purchase full year subscription

   I only considered this app because i wanted to watch the world cup. I have peacock service but my smart tv does not have the peacock application. The plan was to screen mirror my iphone into my samsung smart tv. Installed the application, it “tested” the connection on my samsung tv by creating an image sent from then app which worked. The app then prompts you to purchase the full year subscription at 20 dollars before letting you use the app (only purchase option). I purchased it only to find that despite having passed the system compatibility test i could not actually mirror my iphone screen as they claim. The only thing that is mirrored are my photos, not the intent behind buying this app. Upset, I went on to send a email to the support service since Sunday, no response. I went on to cancel the subs I only to find that you can actually buy a smaller / shorter subscription time including a week. So yeah, basically got tricked into buying the full app subscription for a service not rendered, no support given.

5. 1/5Scam!!

   I got this to screen mirror instead of getting an Apple TV. To get a better resolution you have to pay 20$ yearly subscription. To get “sound” you have to get the subscription, so I thought fine I will do that if it works. The “sound” doesn’t work, you go to the help tab on the app and it says, “we are currently working on broadcasting sound from your device to your tv”. RIDICULOUS!! The app in general doesn’t even work, it disconnects constantly, won’t play anything and the other features won’t work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Just get an hdmi adapter for your tv, Roku or dish out the money for an Apple TV, in the end it is worth it then putting up with this nonsense.
