1. 5/5Easiest way to eat healthier

   Scout is a really solid app if you’re trying to eat healthier without overcomplicating things. It helps you find better food options nearby and filter stuff like high-protein or halal, and the app is super easy to use. What I like most is how much easier it’s made finding food that actually fits my taste while still being healthy, because before it was kind of hard to figure out what to get when eating out. Now it feels way simpler to pick meals I enjoy without guessing if they’re good for me. Overall, it’s a great tool if you want to improve your diet and make smarter choices without stressing about it.

2. 3/5Great concept, needs work

   I love the concept and app design, however some things need to be improved. Firstly, it contradicts itself. Not sure if it lets Ai do the assessment but that is what I suspect. For example the toothpaste, some brands it will say hydrogen peroxide is good and others it will say it’s bad. There needs to be someone fact-checking it. I’m sure some of it is paid advertising but trustworthiness is important when it comes to health.. I don’t like the contradictions and don’t want brands having a say in their ratings. Secondly, there needs to be more of the mainstream brands listed.. more items you can find in your local grocery store rather than niche, small, harder-to-find brands. Before they ask people to pay membership they need to solve these issues to make the app worth it. I see a lot of potential here

   This app is an excellent tool for finding restaurants that offer genuinely healthy food options. 4. 3/5Decent app BUT….

   I saw this app advertised on social media and so I decided to try it out. You only get 3 days to try it out for free then you gotta pay. Now, I’m using the paid version and I unfortunately, the app seems a little buggy. I went to the search bar to search for “eye drops” and it says “No results”. Then I typed in “Bausch & Lomb eye drops” and then it showed me something. So you cannot do a general search on something to find out which brands are the safest. Also, it takes awhile for the search results to come up. The app is helpful but it needs some work. Developers??

5. 5/5Amazing app!

   I’ve tried a lot of wellness/ingredient apps, but Scout is one of the easiest to actually use day to day. I like that it breaks ingredients down in a way that’s simple and quick to understand instead of overwhelming you with information. It’s helped me become more aware of what I’m buying without feeling obsessive about it. Definitely a helpful tool if you’re trying to make more informed choices for yourself or your family.
