1/5Unable to use favorites list
I used to love this app. However, it has become less user friendly over the years. Stations that have favorited no longer show up in my favorites list and every time I click on the station where I sail, I get a pop-up telling me to “favorite” the station… but I “favorited” it years ago, and last week, and again this week. After looking around the app to find my favorites again, I found them under the “Master Profile” option in the favorites tab. However, it is now an unusable menu because every time I click on a station, it asks me to upgrade my account or sign in. I am already signed in on the app with my free account. If I find the station I’m looking for on the map, I can still access the blend models of plus/pro stations. Why can’t I access these same pro/plus stations from my favorites list now with a free account?

1/5Direction arrow is still wrong!
Update#2: [My comments] The developer responded, saying “ Wind direction is always reported on where the winds are coming from. [Yes, a SW wind comes FROM the SW and goes TO the NE] The arrow vectors show the direction of the flow [I.e. the arrow points TO the wind’s destination, not its origin] , they are not meant to be wind barbs. A North wind means winds are coming from the north, a conventional 'wind barb' will point into the wind, North, and a wind vector will be aligned with the tip pointing south." [They proved that their arrow vectors point in the direction the wind is flowing TO, not the direction it’s coming FROM. I’m just asking that they fix their app to say Direction To rather than Direction From, not changing anything but the text. Keep the arrows pointing as they are, just label them correctly!!] Update: this issue is still broken. It should be a simple fix, and contrary to the reply from SF, it’s not a matter of opinion, it’s the truth! It’s a confusing error and should be fixed ASAP. ************************ In general the app works well, but there’s a problem with the Observed wind direction shown on the Wind Graph page. It’s pointed in the right direction, but it’s labeled wrong!! It’s labeled in the key as “Direction From” when it’s actually the direction the wind is flowing to, not from. I’ve emailed the developers directly but they’ve never corrected it. I know it’s a small detail in an otherwise useful app, but it seems like an easy fix to remove any confusion.

2/5Overpriced and disappointing upgrade
I recently upgraded to the SailFlow Plus plan, but I’m incredibly disappointed. There’s absolutely no noticeable difference in service between the free version and the Plus plan. While the app itself is decent and has potential, it’s frustrating how they gatekeep the most useful features behind an overpriced Premium plan, charging over $150 a year! All I want is to check my local wind stations and see basic details about wind conditions—nothing fancy. That should not require spending over $5 a month. The app could be great if it offered more value at a reasonable price point, but as it stands, it feels like a cash grab. 2 stars for functionality, but the pricing structure is a dealbreaker.

5/5A Decade of Trust in an Indispensable Sailing App
For the past five months, I’ve been sailing roughly 20 days each month. I have used SailFlow for more than ten years, and it has proven to be extremely helpful. The app consistently provides all the crucial weather information I need — including detailed sea state data — making each voyage safer and more predictable. While many of my crewmates rely on other weather apps (which I’ve tried in the past), SailFlow stands out by continually embracing new technology and data as they become available. This commitment to innovation keeps the app a step ahead of the competition and solidifies its place as my go-to choice for reliable sailing forecasts. SailFlow’s continuous improvements underscore its value as an essential companion for any serious sailor.

5/5Love this FREE app
I use this app all the time with no problems. We used it to travel the ICW Atlantic this fall and it was our guide to our travel plans each day. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that on my iPhone (iPhone 6s) it displays the map and locations making it easy to use. When my husband loads the app on his iPhone 8 we cannot get the map to appear, even though we compared all our settings to ensure we were the same. He has the latest iOS loaded so not sure if it is an issue with the iPhone 8? Would highly recommend this easy to use app and hope to get it working on the iPhone 8 with a Street / Wind map like it does on my iPhone 6s.
