2/5Pictures Have Pink Tint
I just bought the latest iPad Pro with an M5 processor. I use iPads to take pictures of my patients, a vital component of my MedSpa, and I noticed that it made each patient appear as if they had rosacea because it added a pink tint to every photo. When I tried taking photos in the iPad’s Apple camera, this tint did not appear; the tint only appears when I take photos through RxPhoto. I tried taking photos through RxPhoto in different rooms, with different lights, and with different people, and for every situation, there was the same result - even patients with more yellow skin tones began appearing pink. I do not know how to resolve this issue, as I have already adjusted my iPad’s camera settings and spoke with customer support twice, and the issue persists. I may be left adjusting the white balance setting in the app for every patient every time I take a photo. It is frustrating to finally have such incredible technology with crisp, clear images, only for the app to discolor them.

5/5Plastic surgery photos
I am a plastic surgeon and have been using this program for a year and have photographed hundreds of patients as have my assistants. This is an excellent application for taking photos, showing patients before and afters and downloading photos for presentations or websites etc. Excellent value at $150 a month and it was buggy a while ago but they have improved it Donnie no bugs and super reliable and they are always making it better. I use it across all platforms: iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac desktop. Works super well. You can have your assistant take photos on one iPad and on another eye pad you can look at the photos in virtually real time. Highly highly recommend.

1/5Good potential, but can’t get the most important things right.
Great at categorizing photos. But aweful at quality of pictures. They add different filters to their camera all the time with every new update, so your pictures have different color corrections and contrast a month later when you take the after pic, making the after pic useless. I have to take a regular pic with my camera phone and then update it in the app. We have called them several times to complain about this feature, but to no avail. Why am I paying $200 a month for this app when it doesn’t work properly?

5/5This is my best monthly expense!!!
We have been in business for 6 years. I would spend hours each week downloading and categorizing pictures by patient. It was time consuming and not easily done. If a patient wanted to see their pictures, I would have to put a document together and print it. With RxPhoto, it’s all on our iPads and my phone. I just take it into any room and show the patient. I have tags set up for photo release and treatments. It’s easy to show our pre and post pictures to new patients. You can also print pictures from it. For those that say pictures are inconsistent or blurry, I’ll bet it’s user error. Start by cleaning the lens periodically. The ghosting mode allows you to get a picture in exactly the same position as the last. Comparison pictures look awesome. Our patients love using the slider comparison tool to reveal their after pictures. Having it on my phone is super helpful when you are out of the office and you have to deal with a patient. First, you can see who it is and then review their pictures from anywhere. Using RxPhoto saves me at least 40 hours a more in busy work. I would highly recommend it to anyone doing aesthetics! This is best money we spend every month (and it’s cheap!).

5/5Best practice photo app, look no further!
Hands down the best practice before and after photo app on the market! From the moment you download and open the app, you are pretty much off to the races. Very easy to learn, and even easier to navigate the features so you can quickly take great patient before and after images with a few clicks. For me, consistency in my photos is critical, and with the positioning tools built in it's basically dummy proof. I would recommend this app to any clinic or practice looking to take their before and after game to the next level!
