1. 5/5Best Pathfinder 1e app! Period

   This is the best Pathfinder, first edition application that I have ever found. I’ve tried other character sheet apps, and found them to be overcomplicated and difficult to use because you have to manually put in all of the information just like you would on a standard paper character. I would highly recommend this application for new players, as when you create a character on this app it helps walk you through the process, and for the most part shows you only the feats and options available to your character. this may not be 100% all the time but it’s accurate about 90% of the time or more. This app also has great reference material being able to easily look up, spells, feats, and other types of information very easily. it’s still receives updates on pretty much a monthly basis, sometimes longer, updating classes and other types of game information. it doesn’t have every single feet from every book but again I’d say between 90 and 95% is in there if you purchase all of the expanded content. this is honestly a one stop shop for tracking character sheets, looking up information, tracking spells, etc..

2. 5/5THE Pathfinder app for 1e

   This app has most everything you need and definitely a HUGE help in learning the system flawlessly. I do say almost because it doesn’t have every archetype within the expansion pack but the developers are actively updating and implementing them so you will have to be patient for everything to eventually be rolled out. The layout is clean and very easy to understand while also being quite modular. If there is one improvement I would like to make, it would be the option to edit existing characters to incorporate future archetypes that have yet to be added to a class. Other than that, this app gives you the option to add your own classes, feats, items, spells and even languages just to name a few. So far this has been the best option on the market and by a long shot. The cost for the expansion pack is almost too generous considering it incorporates everything + future updates while being a free app initially, and it’s a small price to pay to support the developers into giving us better content. All in all, I highly recommend it!

3. 5/5Missing LOTS of info but really well made

   So, I’m playing a Seducer Witch with the Enchanting Courtesan Prestige Class and even though literally NONE of the information I need to PLAY this character are on the app, it DOES have this really great “Custom” feature that allows you to fill in the missing gaps which has worked pretty well. I paid for all the bonus packs, thinking my missing information was in one of them, but I’m honestly not even mad about it because the app is fairly well done and the team seem very hands on and eager to help. Vvvv Having someone actually CARE enough to help me figure out how to build my character made me feel like I was dealing with a friend. Which is amazing. Also, they update information CONSTANTLY. I feel like every time I log on, I see “we’ve got an update, would you like to download it now?” 🥰

4. 5/5Great app, but maybe not if you like tons of non-standard options

   I’m not normally one to pay for an app, but I think that this one was worth the $2.99 for the app itself and the $4.99 for the Pathfinder upgrade. I play in a play-by-post group and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out somewhere and unable to update because I needed to refer to something on my character sheet, which I keep at home on my computer! I especially love that it makes all most of the calculations you need for you. That said, it does not have every single Pathfinder option ever released. Among the things missing, I noted story feats, animal companion-specific feats, the elemental arcane schools for wizards, as well as most magical items that aren’t worn in one of the slots and many of the mundane items, though you can add some of those yourself. I also could not figure out how to add magic properties to weapons, though that may be a user error on my part. But if you don’t need to venture too deeply into every PF option ever offered, this app should work just fine for you.

5. 4/5Best iOS option for Pathfinder players, but still room for improvement.

   First off, I want to say that I really mean it when I say that this is easily the best Pathfinder character app that I have found on iOS. It’s intuitive, and (mostly) easy to customize which are the most important things to me in an app like this. That said, it’s a bit disappointing that there are things I can’t manually customize. I would really like the ability to either customize my own archetype or clone a whole class so that I can edit a copy to have the archetype features without having to manually copy every single feature that stays the same. It is also frustrating that there is no option to customize a Wizard’s arcane school. The app does not include any of the focused arcane school options yet and it would be nice to create a custom school so that I didn’t have to wait for these to be added. As it stands now, both of the characters I play use features I can’t add myself so I’m not able to use it to manage their sheets. If the class features of the character(s) you play are already built into the app, or if you play a class that isn’t fully supported yet, but is fully customizable, you should buy this ASAP. It is 100% worth the cost of the base price + Pathfinder expansion. That said, there are certain class features/archetypes that haven’t been added yet with features the user doesn’t have the right permissions to build themselves. There aren’t a lot of places like this, but be aware that it’s a possibility you might run into.
