1. 2/5Not what I thought it was…

   Pretty disappointed. You can only choose fixed design styles. Every comment that I entered to try and tailor the experience was ignored. Not to mention that in order to use the brush tool, you have to first download the generated photo and then reload it. It doesn’t appear that it saves any of the designs in the app. And the it took so long to even have one room “generated”, that my requests kept timing out in error. I’m a fool and paid for the yearly subscription (should have just done a week) and would love a refund.

   I’m pretty disappointed. You can only choose from fixed design styles, and every comment I entered to try to customize the experience was ignored. On top of that, to use the brush tool, you have to download the generated image first and then re-upload it — which is frustrating. The app doesn’t seem to save any of the designs either. It took so long just to generate a single room, and most of my requests kept timing out with errors. I feel foolish for paying for that, I’ll try a refund!

3. 1/5Poor design quality

   The app doesn’t allow for interaction or feedback. When it ask if you like or dislike a design, it always selects the like button for you. This is basically a slot machine. Take a picture. It generates random garbage. When you try to dislike it and give feedback, it is disabled and defaults to saying you liked it. Then you hit the button again and more garbage comes up. It’s not AI. It’s just a random design program. For $10/week it’s not worth it. Find something more sensible.

4. 1/5Don’t waste your money!! App does not follow basic prompts.

   The app does not follow even the most basic prompts. For example, working on a bedroom, I told it three times to add a dresser and a desk. It added neither. Rather it continued to reproduce the same bedroom with different colors. The app does not fit creat size appropriate layouts, even when prompted to adjust the size of a piece. For example, in the bedroom, I told it multiple times to put storage at the foot of the bed. When it put a small basket, I prompted it to make the storage bigger, however, it did not. It just changed the appearance of the basket. The style filters are not the best. In the same amount of time it took for me to download and start using the app, my husband created superior rooms, which used actual design fundamentals, appropriate sizing, which followed prompts appropriately using ChatGPT.

5. 5/5Super useful tool!

   My mom loves moving furniture around and rearranging rooms. This helps us visualize possible arrangements to the room. The only suggestion I have to add is that it would be great if there is a new function that allows a rearrangement using already placed furniture, not just a new arrangement by swapping them to new furniture!
