   The app is great and easy to use. Feedback suggestions: menu: provide descriptions of the items as you’re ordering. Be able to pick a future time (ASAP was the only option). When we got there to pick up (20 mins after placing the order) the location didn’t have the order. So there must be a miscommunication somewhere along the line.

2. 3/5Great coffee. Glitchy app.

   So I will start by saying Rook makes amazing coffee. The baristas at the location I visit are super nice and helpful. The app…. It needs work. Multiple times I have gone to place an order. Same order as the day before. Same pick up location. Either the store hasn’t received the order or it will get sent to a different location. If I go to place a new order, it will occasionally select a location that I’m nowhere near. For example I went to place an order in Manalapan. My location was Manalapan. The app wanted to do pickup in Homdel. I’ve tried on different phones and same thing happens. Also the app cuts off the total off the bottom of the screen. I’m running an iPhone 14 Pro and it’s cut off. On my work phone (12 Mini) it’s fine. I know it’s not the barista a fault and sometimes I vent about the app, but like I said coffee is great however the app is glitchy.

3. 3/5Not very helpful

   The app feels kind of useless because once you order, instructions tell you to ONLY enter the Rook store when your order status changes to “ready/finished.” The problem is the order status never changes, and even the ETA is usually 10-15 min after your order is actually done. I ordered at 12:25, and my app said ETA 12:45. At 12:40, I walked in and my order had been sitting there for over 10 minutes. If I had waited for an alert to tell me when to come into the store, I would have been sitting in my car for over an hour and 10 minutes. You guys need to change your instructions or get your employees to actually hit the ready button when an order is complete. I got a notification my order was ready an hour after I picked it up.

4. 4/5Finally!! So excited for the app

   I love the layout and ease of picking menu options. My suggestions for improvement: it takes over 5 clicks from start to finish and 3 are just to confirm payment alone. More streamlining perhaps? Also, the rewards system rounds down so my purchase of $2.80 every day only gives me a net 2 reward points. Compared to your old buy 10, get 1 free, now I have to purchase 20 drinks to get 1 free hot coffee.. which is a very large discrepancy. Please reconsider the reward system and how your loyal customers accrue points. Overall, very grateful you’re open and expanding business with the app! Thanks for your service!

5. 2/5Rook Coffee is awesome, the app is not

   Please redesign the app, it could be much more streamlined. I make the same order all the time and still takes me a ton of clicks (such as choosing “ASAP” every time when you don’t even offer scheduled ordering) when it theory it could be like 2. It crashes frequently, loads slowly, has a bunch of weird formatting, This is such a simple app and has the potential to be so much better with the help of a competent app developer. I’m guessing you don’t have a software engineer in house at a small company but I’m sure there are better contractors out there than whoever built this.
